Whitby Fabrics Sewing Centre
signed up and paid handsomely for beginner sewing classes and was very disappointed that by 3rd class still had no idea how to thread my machine and despite me being on time (or early for class as they requested) and with all supplies and homework done, teacher focused on the other students that showed up late with either no materials nor homework done. thanks only goes to another keen student who helped me. I decided not to return as i didn't want this to deter me from learning to sew which is the reason why i took the classes in the first place. a quick search and i found a better alternative and am happy to say after 1 lesson i now know my machine better and my sewing has greatly improved. Whitby Fabrics Sewing Centre
It has been a pleasure to visit Whitby Fabrics over the years, especially As a non-sewer. My daughter who's now 10 has been learning to sew from the fantastic classes and excellent teachers for the last two years and has made clothing for herself, her doll, made pencil cases and pillows. Bev particularly holds a special place in her heart being the first to give her the confidence to cut the fabric independently and to trust herself and her skills and to operate a machine like a pro! It's Whitby's loss that this sweet little store is moving to Burlington. Thanks to the staff. ❤️

Whitby Fabrics Sewing Centre
Nice location, good fabrics and selection of notions. I only bought needles here, but I can tell you they were better price then fabricland. I will be taking a class here in the future.
