Nice views along the Mersey River up to the house. It was closed when we were there. It's only open on the weekends. Beautiful spot to stop along our road trip. Lots of info and history here. The whole town is quite adorable.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff at the lighthouse. Interesting to walk around and imagine what it would have been like to live here. We walked up to the top floor and sounded the foghorn. Gorgeous scenery all around.

Fort Point Lighthouse Interpretive Centre & Park
Cute lighthouse next to a small park with a picnic area and a short walk along the water. Great to stop by, take a breather, and enjoy the scenery. There were some boards with information about the lighthouse and the nature surrounding the area. There is limited parking available (6 spots?) near the lighthouse, but there are also some street parking on the way there. Keep a look out for some very uniquely painted fire hydrants in the area.

Beautiful waterfront setting on historic site. Loved it! Nice walking path with benches for sitting and relaxing while enjoying the view. Lots of interpretive panels to learn about the history of the site and the local community. Well kept lighthouse with reception area and restrooms. We were able to see several boats heading out to sea for fishing. Enjoying watching birds and seals from the Point. Awesome! Thanks.

It is a quaint little place. I mean if you walked by it and didn't look for the sign on the door you would probably miss it. I enjoyed seeing some of the local history, my son didn't like the stairs because they were so narrow. It was kind of funny seeing him walking up and down the stairs
