I applied for a small loan of $500 to have my back breaks repaired. I thought everything was so easy and I was very happy with the service. They were quick to give me approval and the go ahead. Before I continue with my experience I will add that before my approval, in my application, I provided my vin number, registration, insurance, and license plate which all indicated that my car was from Alberta. So, Advantagewon provide both the mechanic shop and myself with the information on the approved loan and the go ahead to fix the car. Four hours after fixing the car and leaving the mechanic shop, Advantagewon calls to me notify me that my loan had been revoked. Their reasoning was that I was not an Ontario resident. I explained to them that I was in fact an Ontario resident, for about 3 years, and that this was a car I simply own from Alberta that I use to travel back and forth. Still they rudely denied me and made it clear they did not care for my explanation; they even went to head management before calling to ask for any additional information or to clarify before revoking my loan, they just went ahead and did it. Additionally, they knew before hand that my car was from Alberta as previously mentioned, I provided information that showed this. They would not accept any paper work from me to prove my residence here in Ontario and just kept telling me that there was nothing they could do for me. When I asked to be transferred to head management the call was seemingly “dropped”. I would not recommend this agency, they are very unprofessional, do not pay attention to the details involved in their work, and are NOT accountable to their customers. I am now stuck paying $500 up front out of my pocket, and I will say there was a reason I had to take out a loan. NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL!

Fantastic service. Used them for a large repair. took advantage of the 90 days no interest. Paid off the loan 1 week before the terms were due. Discharge papers right to my inbox. Easy, simple, done. Will keep them in mind for future repairs.Update Feb 2020.Used the fine service that Advantagewon offers for the second time. Repair done beginning of December. Took advantage of the 90 days no interest. Contacted them today with an e-transfer to pay off the loan. Discharge papers the same day.These folks are great. I will recommend them time and time again.I have seen great reviews and terrible reviews on here. I can assure you that I stand by my reviews.Thank you Advantagewon. Your customer service is amazing. i have been dealing with 1 lady, who has hung up on me multiple times and extremely unprofessional and ignorant.they tried to take out an extra payment, which was my original complaint.i specifically asked to speak with someone else, she stated that she owned the company and was the only one that works there.she then proceeds to tell me that i have to pay 120$ for a registered letter that i never received.now she is telling me that she's sending my info to their law firm and going to seize my car.i have never in my life experienced such unprofessional, rude and lying person.to hang up on someone multiple times and then say that i refuse to communicate is ridiculous.i have every last email that was sent back and forth and its a good thing i do, seeing as i will be dealing with their law firm

I can tell you this while Advantagewon can be a valued service in helping with automotive repairs there business policies and practices are highly questionable. It maybe in your best interest to just pay for the repairs if you have the ability. They will push for an internal insurance policy to cover the repairs or request your insurance company to but them on as a lien holder. I have spoken to 5 highly ranked insurance companies and they have all advised they don't do this as they are not creditors" for automobile purposes.Under law you are not required to take any additional insurance offered. I am not saying their service is bad but their policies and practices. Read before you sign and get all the information upfront."

Hoax company. Not trust worthy. When i got loan from Advantage Won, they added insurance to my loan, that if my vehicle is written off, I don't need to pay loan by providing vehicle write off form by my insurance company. I have submitted form 5 times from Jan 2020 to March 2020 and also left voicemail to these guys but they never reply. They are still charging me. Not bond able. Don't go for these guys. Worst customer service I have ever received.

We use Advantagewon frequently for our customer's financing needs. We love their 90 day payment deferral program. It helps our customers get their transmission repaired and back to their schedules quicker without worrying about the payment immediately. The staff is courteous, professional, knowledgeable and they process payments in a timely manner. Will continue to use their services and am thrilled that our customers are also treated well by this organization and also that they have options!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Horrible customer service. Horrible cost to borrow. For example, I needed my brakes fixed and didn't have the funds at the time. I was given the option to finance through this company. My brakes were $1618.41. The interest rate is 45.9% and My total cost for repayment is $2800.63. That's almost DOUBLE! PLUS they put a lien on your car. DO NOT USE IF YOU DONT HAVE TO.

As a specialist transmission repair facility we quite often have to give the bad news to a vehicle owner that their repair is going to be expensive. Sometimes the person does not have immediate funds at their disposal and needs their vehicle for everyday tasks like going to work, driving kids to school etc. We have been using AdvantageWon for a number of years and have always had a positive experience. Their 90 day deferred payment program is very popular and has helped many of my customers. When calling them, I always get a live friendly person to talk to, quite often immediately. In my experience, they are very professional and knowledgeable. To date, I have not had any customer complaints about dealing with them and have lots of customers that have successfully used their services. I have no hesitation in recommending them fully. Having said that, my only caution applies to everything in life. Always ask and fully understand what you are agreeing to and signing for. Lack of understanding and due diligence is no excuse for blaming other people for the situation you find yourself in.

Only use if you are stuck. I used them to rebuild my credit. Year later and not such a good deal. This company is a predatory lender so if you can go a different route I would strongly recommend that option before them. And I had no complaint of their professionalism till I seen how the owners responded. Very childish and unprofessional. That tells you all you need to know about this company.

This company is very good to deal with. They are always very nice professional. You do pay very high interest if you take the loan over full term, but they do give you 90 days interest free to pay it off. That being said they are quite clear about their fees and interest rates so if your pay a tonne in interest is is simply your fault. If you need /want repairs done on your car or rims and tires they are great to get you going now instead of later when you dont have any money. The people on here bashing them are guilty of either not listening to the terms or assuming they could pay it of in 90 days, and then become mad when the interest kicks in because the didn't. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE.
