John Campbell's Towing

My car broke late in the evening on a national holiday (Canada Day) approximately 400km away from home. We were out of options to get get back home and then we were very lucky to get help from John Campbell's towing. He was very professional, helpful and went out of his way to help us. The tow truck arrived promptly and we were on our way home in no time. We are very thankful for their exceptional service and strongly recommend John Campbell's Towing to anyone.

My car stopped in Gananoque, ON and these guys helped me out twice. Very nice and professional people! The second time John, the owner, himself towed my car to dealership.

0 stars n no RECOMMENDATIONS.RUDE BEHAVIOURTalked on phone, I was having minor problem with my container on chassis. Only to change direction of container. They charged for 6 hours. I went to their place, service was not called at my location. As I reached there they started to do the job with two trucks as they have to pickup container upto 3-4 inches and hold. Took less than 10 minutes. After finishing they told me the bill of $850. When I asked they told me that they had to use two trucks because container was heavy and minimum 3 hours per truck. On the other hand they told me that It was 1050 + taxes job n I have been given discount. Further he (may be the owner) said that I came to them for services, they didn’t call me. He never told me that they would charge for two trucks. I have the picture before putting the chains to container. I would have no problem if he clarifies before.BREAKING FAITH OF PEOPLE.And when my company called about this matter, the guy over phone (owner) called them crazy.Point to be noted that I went to their location, service was not called. I talked to the other company nearby and I explained them the situation without telling that work is already done. They asked me to pay 175+ taxes.Paid $ 850 for just pickup container and holding for 3 minutes. Our company do charge for shunting to the other companies only for $ 30 in our yard. Even CN charges $50 for additional move. Charging three or four times is enough. They didn’t drive truck even for 100 metres in the yard. I adjusted my truck according to their towing truck.What if I called them at my location. Would they bring two trucks without my knowledge. And knowingly that I m gonna charged this much, I would have called them.It would have cost 200$ to go back to montreal and come back.Salute to your calculations n bravery mr. towing co.Very bad and unforgettable experience with a life lesson.The Owner gave an answer to this post and deleted after. Because he was afraid of explaining.

Worst experience I ever had and this was on Christmas Day. OPP called them to winch my truck out during a snowstorm guy showed up over 1 hour later and told me they he was going to pull me out either you like it or not and told me if I had cash if not he was going to impound the truck which left me no choice. He hooked up the winch and HIS truck started sliding... kept trying for 1.5 hours then told me he only had SUMMER Tires and called his buddy with another truck and took another 2 hours to finally pull me out. Told me it would cost $720 with tax and all and even over charged me $5 on the receipt which I later realized. Over charged me on the Km to get to where I was and charged me $345 for towing when there was no towing. That night whole family was in the truck the guy basically robbed us knowing this. Called CAA for reimbursement and they were shocked and told me they took advantage for charging $720 and not having the proper equipment. Took them 4 hours to winch my f-150 what was only maybe 4-5 ft off the road

My motorcycle broke down on Hwy.2 in Cardinal. Within one hour these guys were here with an awesome inclosed trailer to pick up my bike. Very professional and friendly!!I highly recommend!!

My wife was traveling from Toronto to Montreal when one of her tires just shredded itself. I found and called Campbells' Towing and Scott showed up. Since we didn't want to have to have the vehicle fixed in Brockville and have to drive back to get it and the spare is only good for 80km, Scott took it to within safe driving distance from Montreal, where he put the spare on and tied down the half-shredded mud flap that was occupying the wheel well. He was courteous, professional, and generally just a nice person.Kudos to Campbell's for the great service and if we have another breakdown on the way to Toronto (perish the thought), we'll have their card handy.

My car broke down around 3AM and we were left with no choice but to have the vehicle towed. Our driver Scott arrived promptly and was very professional and helpful. He helped us through our tough time and offered advice and good conversation during our hour long ride! Would greatly recommend

Hi, I'm not seeing a link for me to be able to post a review, so hopefully you can somehow post it for me. First of all I'm from Halifax, Nova Scotia and was traveling between Toronto and Montreal today (March 27, 2023) heading East. I had a blowout with one of my runflat tires on my BMW 750LI XDRIVE near Maitland/Prescot Ontario. I am a CAA member and and was helped by Scott from Campbell's Towing, very pleasant experience, he drove me to Cornwall about a 93 km drive. Scott was very personable, we spoke about everything during the drive, trading life stories back n forth about the highway, wild animals, fishing, and just the day to day activities. It definitely took the stress about my vehicle situation off my mind big time. All I can say is, anytime in the future if I happen to need roadside assistance anywhere, I hope I get a road technician like Scott from Campbell's Towing. Thanks again Scott.

They said 700$ to take my car out of impound wen I got there they said 1200$ I recommend using brockville towing, now I lost my brand new car cus of it was not lenient on figureing something out.no the owner is the one that jacked up the price wen i arrived but i was told 700$ nothing should have changed, the owner is a two face con artist, for every day of my life i will let everyone know what type of service is being given at this establishment -10 start bud.
