Bonneville Homes - Pre-engineered homes

Went through the model homes, and then had a zoom meeting (due to covid) 3 weeks later to get more info. Homes are VERY expensive and do NOT come finished. Was very disappointed to learn that A LOT of the finishing touches are up to the buyer to complete, as in mudding and painting the ENTIRE house not just where cracks and whatnot from the house being trasported, flooring and trim, not to mention you have to supply the crain(s) to put the home on the foundation. After speaking with their competitor and learning that THEIR homes are pretty much turn key ready AND they do all the finishing touches as well as come back after a year to fix any cracks or anything that at happen after the house has settled, as well as their warranty is better and their homes are close in cost, I think we'll be going with the competition

Interesting place for sure. I toured all of the model homes BUT not a single sales person in site. That was good and not so good.

Very rude at both location, I called today 1st at Barrie and 2nd at this location (Belleville). I started off the conversation by greeting and at both times they were not interested in helping. I got annoyed because the 2nd time topped it off. If a customer calls you have to be willing to help Thank you for calling Bonneville homes Belleville or Barrie

We have recently received our gorgeous Bonneville home and are absolutely thrilled from the service and support we received from all of the Bonneville Family but especially Marcel Bari who was our first Contact in purchasing the home but remained with throughout the process. Top marks for him and his entire team and the head office staff too!!!!

We have Purchased a modular home for our cottage. The sales team at the Orillia location have been fantastic! Both Margaret and Jen have been prompt, so knowledgeable in answering all of our questions and amazing to deal with!We are hopefully excepting delivery next week so looking forward to the next stage!

Not sure what kind of company would place their advertising on a formerly gorgeous plot of forest turned into a clear and burn pit...But alas, that's what I found when visiting one of my former favorite places to hike near Apsley, Ontario.I understand this site might be in the process of redevelopment, but to leave it in this state for several weeks is just awful.

The only reason I gave 1 star,was because there were no other options! I was so excited to build my home,and after dealing with Bonnieville, it has been a total nightmare. I have given them close to 40,000 dollars and nothing but paperwork to show for it. I spent 8 hours driving to Montreal, gas,hotel that cost me 500$ for the night and only a few hours sleep, to spend almost 8 hours with the design center. She actually made me cry for not having everything signed. Very pushy, rude and unprofessional as far as I am concerned. I really wish I had done my research on Bonnieville, because now I SEE them for what they are. Contracts have been broken all the time, and I do understand that there my be a little penalty, but for them to take that kind of money, when a lot of people don't make that in a year!!! Shame on you people. I will be going to talk to the newspaper and whomever else I can to let them know how shady you really are.

Purchased the Jordan. DisappointedDo yourself a favour and stipulate a 10% Builders Holdback for 60 days. Keeps them honest. 4 weeks after installation still waiting for the “button up crew” to finish with their work. Working half days with half crew is the biggest reason. During installation they dropped my house 2 feet back onto the tractor trailer. Broke floor joists.Communication is definitely not a strong point for Bonneville Homes.Feel free to contact me for further details.

Warning to anyone considering with moving forward with this builder. We lost $67,000 to this company with nothing to show for it. With only one zoom meeting with their designer we realized this company would take too long to meet our deadlines. We walked away from the project expecting this company to do the right thing and return a portion if not all of our money considering the only expense to them was one zoom call with no finalized plans.

I had a good honest discussion with the sales representative. These units are not for me, personally. But during my zoom call I was always treated with respect and would certainly recommend Bonneville Homes to others.
