Ganaraska Animal Clinic

We would highly recommend Ganaraska Animal Clinic. We moved recently and wanted a vet close by. We stopped in for a visit, without our pet, to ask some questions and get a feel for the place. They were very accommodating and encouraged us to bring our very anxious dog by for some pre-appointment visits to get him used to the environment, which we did. While still nervous at his checkup, he was certainly not as bad as he used to be at our previous vet office. All staff were very understanding and so gentle with him- getting down on the floor to his level to make him more comfortable. We were impressed with the service we received- from front desk staff to Dr. Katherine -and know we made the right decision. Prices were more than we were used to paying but not unreasonable.

Very friendly staff that treat your pets like their own. Their groomer is great and I would highly recommend her to anyone.

I highly recommend Ganaraska Animal Clinic. We are treated just like family everytime we visit. We normally see Dr Katherine and just love her care and compassion. She has walked us through some rough times with our one pup. Not only with visits but calling to make sure everything was going okay. Finding a vet clinic that treats your four legged family like family is truly a blessing.

Ganaraska Animal Clinic always makes time to see our Coco, They are very efficient, they answer all my questions and always provide excellent care. I drive out of my way to bring Coco there. Our other Chihuahua Buddy came here as well, sadly he is not longer with us. You will not be disappointed coming here.

I can't thank them enough for taking such good care of Mossy our Caine Corso x Rotti mis mix! She can be quite a dramatic dog, but the staff took great care of her here during her spay and dew claw removal! They also gave us great recommendations for taking care of her during the following weeks!

I finally found a wonderful establishment to bring my two dogs to in Port Hope. My one dog was super nervous but they didn’t rush the exam they took the time to make my dog feel comfortable and checked her out on her terms. The bill for two check ups was quite reasonable and there was no upselling of shots they didn’t require like my previous vet. Very happy with all of the staff. The ladies at the front desk were super friendly and quite busy. Very impressive.

The whole staff at Ganaraska are friendly and helpful. Particular plaudits go to Dr's Brooke, Sarah and Rebecca for their diagnostic and communication skills. My dogs like them too!

My dog had dental cleaning, teeth extraction etc done. The staff were professional, friendly, patient & did their best to explain everything. Best of all I thought they were very caring towards my pet.They called to check on her progress the following day.Overall a great experience.
