If they don't have it at Crown you are probably not going to get it. Great customer service! Even though they are always busy, they make time for you.

BEWARE if you bring in your broken equipment to be repaired by Crown Maintenance. They do not take any responsibility for any mistakes they made which caused my equipment to fail. I was willing to negotiate a solution, but the owner (Scott King) was very defensive, rude and disrespectful.WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

Great service and experience. Personal attention is so refreshing when you're accustomed to big box anonymity. Crown Maintenace turned what was a disappointing experience and snowblower purchase into a win for both them and me.

Update: Since I did the repairs myself, as stated below, the snow thrower has worked flawlessly. We have had a couple of significant snow falls recently and the auger belt never slipped or jumped off once.Too bad the service tech at Crown wouldn’t listen to me when I tried to tell them that my snow thrower had a deeper problem than just a simple auger belt replacement.I paid them a lot of money for nothing!!I have Cub Cadet 26” 3xHD Snow Thrower which is about four years old. During the past couple of years, I was experiencing multiple occasions when the auger drive belt would jump off the pulleys. I would replace the belt and adjust the tension spring many times. Always using a new OEM Belt.Last winter I decided to send it to Crown Maintenance for repair. They kept the machine for three weeks and when it was returned, they had only put on a new belt and replaced my gas with Aspen Engineered fuel. For a cost of $250 (includes pickup & delivery).Although I had insisted that there was a deeper cause for the belt to keep coming off, they refused to listen. I even requested to speak directly to a mechanic but was refused because they were “busy” and had to deal only with the front desk staff, who were very pleasant as well as the gentleman who picked up my machine. This winter I was experiencing the same issue again. The belt would jump off even while running the auger in my garage. This time I decided to really try and find the root cause of this issue myself. I took the front blower assembly off and removed the auger assembly. What I found was that the shoulder bolt holding the Auger Idler/Brake arm was very loose and the bottom of the bracket was catching on the snow blower frame. This restricted the full tension and engagement of the Auger Idler pulley on to the drive belt. Because of this the tension of the belt was insufficient to keep it on the drive pully.Today we had a small amount of snow and a deep windrow. The snow blower worked great, just as it did when it was new. Therefore, my review is because I tried to tell Crown that they need to look for the deeper cause for my issue. However, the mechanic didn’t look for the real cause they simply put on a new belt and sent it back to me.Had an experienced mechanic noticed how loose the Auger Idler/Brake arm was it would have saved me a lot of hand snow shoveling time.

Elderly mother of mine was having issues with her small 2 stroke single stage Toro snow blower. I had assumed that maybe if needed a quick tune up, perhaps plugs and/or dirty carburetor. Having no time myself, I had asked her to bring it down to Crown Maintenance for service. At the end of the ordeal, she was told the Toro had a blown motor, and the shop didn't want to get into fixing it. My mother trusting everything she was being told had been made to believe her current machine was blown and she needed to purchase a replacement machine. She was sold a brand new, Toro single stage snow blower at the retail price, roughly $1300..... great news for Crown Maintenance! They sold a brand new machine but, at least they were kind enough to not charge for servicing her broken Toro. No worries, its business and I fully understand! This is where it gets interesting though.... mother had brought her machine to a small engine repair shop close to her house purely out of curiosity to get a second educated opinion. This particular small engine repair shop in Bowmanville (Campbell's Small Engines) was pleasant and happy to have a second look at her Toro. It turns out that after a VERY reasonable price, mother had a dirty carburetor, a leaky fuel primer, and a fresh spark plug, along with a thorough inspection. Now her Toro runs perfectly! Unfortunately, I won't be returning to Crown Maintenance as it appears that my mother was mislead.

Fantastic service, the two young ladies working the counter are both knowledgeable and helpful. Prices are competitive with the big box stores with the caveat of better service. They will assemble and demonstrate your purchase for you prior to leaving the store. If you are looking for Stihl or Echo products this is the place to be.

I bought a brand new Ariens snow blower from Lowes. I used it only one time and after a year tried to start and didn't start. It came with two years of warranty. I called the ariens and they recommend I contact these guys. I called them and they put me on hold which is their trick to show how busy they are. The lady on the phone instead of helping me start giving me the price and how much is gonna cost me. I don't recommend this place!

My boyfriend called here today inquiring for information for parts for his snowblower. The woman answering the phone was very rude and snarky with him while he was trying to give her the part numbers needed. He hung up and tried looking for the numbers as to not hold her up on the phone. He tried calling back once he got the numbers and his calls were ignored. When she finally did pick up the phone she snapped at him saying that “she couldn’t sit here and answer all his calls because she was the only one working”.Not his problem. Hire more staff and take a happy pill. Will NEVER deal with this location/company.
