Dr. Levy has helped me through a medical situation that no other medical professional was able or willing to figure out. There was no guess work involved. Traveled almost 10 hours from the states to Toronto to see Dr. Levy, per a friend's recommendation - and the travel was well worth the visit! He is very knowledgeable, understands the science behind why the standard pharmaceutical drugs don't always work (treat the symptom rather than get at root cause) and really tries to get the patient to feel better overall - taking a holistic approach rather than piece-mealing or focusing on just one problem. He understands everything in the body is connected and gives recommendations on what he believes will really help the patient - whether lifestyle/diet changes, supplements that will help strengthen and heal those areas/systems in the body that need it most or anything else.It was nice to hear Dr. Levy's own story and personal experience with his health and medical care from when he was growing up as a child, and how he then completely overcame his these and turned his life around after the first few decades of struggles, thanks to functional medicine.Also, he does not rely on guess-work or theories - but rather ensures the patient does a series of tests (I sent in results from some blood tests and stool tests I had previously done but there are a few more he recommends to ensure he really has a full view of the patient - including sensitivity to certain medicines and/or foods, genetics etc.).

After years of chronic illness and seeing multiple doctors Dr. Levy is the first to provide me with real answers and solutions. He is also the first doctor that I've ever fully trusted with my health. He is very knowledgable in both western medicine and holistic health care. Everything is evidence based so you're not wasting you're money on countless appointments. When he orders tests you pay the company directly and Dr. Levy does not profit from it. He's not in it for the money and if you are serious about your health, the tests and appointments with Dr. Levy are worth every penny. In only two appointments I've received more answers about my health than I have in years of working with countless other doctors. Dr Levy is a life changer - he has treated both my parents, family and close friends, all of whom speak very highly of him.
