Thornton Community Park
It's a big park adjacent to the Thornton Community Center. There is a newer playground with splash area and a picnic pavilion. There's a building with ice rink during winter, basketball court for other seasons. There's a baseball field beside the pond. There's a parking lot. It's free to everyone. People in the neighborhood can walk to the park by a pathway.

Great park for children, free, and well maintained.There are 2 porta potties on site, and some picnic tables under a roof, providing shades & protection from the rain.
