This second hand store sets the bar high, it's the best one I've been to across Canada, and I am a thrifty shopper. It's been in operation since the early 80s and by some miracle, stayed open during the covid times, except when we were on total lockdown.You do have to dig in the bins to find the best deals, but they have a $2 rack with really nice stuff, and almost everything there is under $10.(The lovely women who work there are all volunteers, except for the manager, so please be extra nice to them.)

Great place to go thrifting. A nice mix of work clothes, vintage pieces, and local Antigonish clothing (stfx, maritime, etc.). Prices are extremely reasonable! You can definitely find some gems here.

I went twice to drop off many boxes of goods. My first experience was helpful women who helped me carry the boxes. My second experience was less pleasant. Why don't they have a dolly to help carry in multipleBoxes? This is a charity that benefits from donations so why not be friendly? The person I dealt with was unfriendly and I left feeling like I didn't want to donate to them. This is how they make their money, like any other business!?
