Bethune Park

Not for family use area is alittle ruff

It is a nice place for children to play but not so much after dark its not the best for children then.

The playground itself is nice, and my children enjoy playing there. However I always need to do a check over of the park before letting them go. It's not uncommon to find something. Once there was a large pile of vomit, another time broken glass.One time I found $10 nearby, so not all bad, I suppose.

It has a nice big playground, community garden and a fair size fenced in grass area for the kids to play tag or r favorite bocce ball.

Maybe we went at the wrong time. There were dirty clothes, empty food packages and wrappers ALL over the equipment. There was a man that kept circling around and around the park. A different man then stood up out of the community garden (which is right beside the childrens equipment)... and two women across the street started screaming that this man had stolen their wallet...my children were frightened...we ended up turning to leave, all of us feeling uneasy and then the man that was being yelled at in the the garden started walking toward us.. we continued to walk out.. he started following behind us very quickly. He turned around after we got out of the park and back out onto Bethune st. I will not be taking my children back there unless their father is accompanying us.

Great place to hangout and shoot some hoops, or just let the little one la run around has to be before 8pm though

Yeah nice. Don't tell anyone. LoL

It's nice but done of the people in the area are nuts and I would deffently not hang out at night

Cute park but a really rough area of Peterborough

This park is really nice! The equipment was new and well kept. It has a beautiful community garden. I think for the area a better 'outdoor flooring' for under the play area would be best so nothing can be hidden in it. If it were maintained a bit better I would have given it 5 stars but there were a considerable amount of cigarette butts and a bit of other garbage. It had a nice amount of shady areas and a nice layout.
