Great location. Front desk very courteous. Clean washroom. Room was little oddly designed and felt little congested. Overall, not a bad choice if you just spend night in the room

Honestly I don’t know how this hotel is rated as a 2 star hotel because it’s really better than most 4 star hotels that I’ve stayed at. The rooms are clean and modern. I actually found myself looking at some of the decor and considering it for my own home. The beds are comfortable, as is the temperature in the room. I found it to be quiet and having the “quiet hours” from 10pm to 6am is helpful for a good night’s rest. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. I left something behind and they went above and beyond to locate it for me even though they really didn’t have to do that. I would not hesitate to recommend staying here and it would absolutely be my first choice when I head back to the area.FYI the beach is about a 15-20 min walk. I didn’t find that to be too bad. You could always drop someone off with all of your stuff at the beach and then park back at the hotel. We walked with our beach stuff both days and it was totally doable.

Stayed here for one night with family at one of the king bedrooms (204).Pros:- Very clean, modern look in the reception and lounge areas and the rooms.- Refreshing and tasteful decor.- Check in was a breeze. The lady at the reception was very helpful at explaining how the A/C works and some other stuff.- The room was literally spotless and the linens smelled so fresh.- So quiet! We laid down for a 30 minute nap in the afternoon and woke up 5 hours later because it was just so relaxing.- Walking distance to restaurants and the main beach.- Tassimo coffee machine in the room. For once I actually enjoyed my hotel coffee.- Plenty of free parking.- Plenty of outlets in the room to charge your phones etc.- The mini fridge worked great.- The shampoo, conditioner and shower gel are in a dispenser which is so convenient and smart.Cons:- No elevator and the rooms are on the second floor, which is clearly stated on the hotel’s website, so don’t complain. The staff did offer to help us carry our bags up the stairs.- I found the mattress to be a little too soft for my comfort, but it wasn’t worn out or anything.- The bathroom had a shower only (gorgeous, though!) which was a bit inconvenient to bathe our baby, but we made do.- The TV is big and worked great, albeit not many channels to choose from.Overall, loved this place and would definitely stay here again. Wish we could have stayed longer this time.

I have stayed here numerous nights recently and the staff are very friendly, the rooms are clean and modern, beds are comfy, linens are nice.. what more could you ask for!

Newer hotel, all rooms located on the 2nd floor, no elevator, so must be able to navigate stairs. 15 minute walk to the main beach. Variety, grocery and restaurants located within a 5 minute walk around the hotel. Rooms were not huge but were very clean with nice decor. Room was equiped with mini fridge, Tassimo, kettle, hairdryer, a/c.. all worked great. Hotel is located on a main road above a strip mall. Parking was no issue for us in the lot and when it was time to sleep it was quiet and the window had blinds and blackout curtains so nice and dark. More than happy with our visit and would definitely stay there again.

Great little hotel. Room was lovely and clean, place was quiet (no rowdiness) for my kids and myself. Beds were very comfortable, nice clean linens, it even smelled lovely and fresh & clean. Staff we dealt with were fab. Perfect little getaway! Thanks!

The bed and shower were excellent. This room felt more like a bedroom in a Toronto condo than a hotel room, but it did the trick. It felt modern, although with odd corners cut. The toilet didn't flush, as it was defective in the tank. Also, the bathroom vanity drawer didn't work right.It would also have been nice to have a microwave in the room, but the lounge" was only a few steps away.I'd stay here again to enjoy a great sleep and a shower."

Great location to stay for a visit to Grand Bend. Hotel appears to be newly renovated. Exactly as shown on Expedia where we made our booking. Check-in is between 3 pm to 10 pm. If coming in later, you need to call and make arrangements. 11 am is the checkout time. If you prefer a quiet stay, recommend you get a room on the back side of the hotel which are all trees. The front of the hotel faces the main road and I am sure you will hear traffic from cars and trucks during the high season. Our stay was not great. It was 10 C outside and the heaters would stay on after the thermostat was at a set point. We also turned off the thermostat to no avail. Had to wake the supervisor at 1 am. The room was up to 31 C. She attempted to adjust the thermostat. We left the window open to balance the temperature. Do not expect towels that are thick like the Marriot or Holiday Inn. Their towels are very thin. There was no seal on the hinge side of the shower door. If not mindful, water will escape through this gap. The washroom in our room was not spacious and can only accommodate one person at a time. There is a hair dryer and it has a separate heater in the washroom (this also was regulated by the same thermostat and stayed on all night).
