Revera Riverside Place Long Term Care Home

For some reasons, I didn't know I gave Riverside place a one star review two years ago.This is an Amazing company that I feel with a high sense of gratitude and pride to call home as I have over the year built a stronger ties and the working condition amongst staff and management is cool

Hello Management , I was hired at riverside as a psw, and I am on odsp. They terminated me while I was still orientating for reasons like I go to the washroom to much and that I always complain I am tired witch is not true…I remember when you were talking this one time I was a student and you said that not allowed and a person with disability must be given at least one chance. I have crohn disease. Now my lawyer and my odsp worker will be helping me out… I also hurt myself and filled an incident report. That when they terminated me..I was still orientating and Tina the Nurse and Eva the psw would leave me all by myself in the floor and go for a smoke every 5-10 minutes and they would smoke on balcony to (not allowed) ..This is unfair and this is the worst place to work, they are litterly always talking about one another and making fun of residents with dementia..I know many of the families and I will for sure let them know about this…Very sad and also this workplace made me change my mind about becoming a nurse or even working as a psw.Very unprofessional and very rudeThe minute I got injured they decide to fire me!!’n

My father has been at Riverside Place since last month. The staff are amazing, very compassionate and the food is great. It is also very clean. We do not regret placing him there.

My father-in-law Reinhardt was a resident for many years and passed away in March 2020 just prior to COVID shutdown. His final months were absolute agony due to an undiagnosed advanced case of scabies. This was a clear miss by the resident doctor resulting in considerable discomfort. Unforgivable miss on Riverside Place. We wrote to Riverside Place after his death to advise them of Reinhardt's condition and of the entire family's disappointment regarding the poor level of medical care from your onsite physicians. We never received a reply. We have not forgotten how poorly he was treated.

My husband has lived here for over one year. When I first looked at this place it just felt like home for him. His bedroom is very beautiful, plus the staff treat him very well. I would recommend this place to anyone.

This is a great place to live and to visit.It is clean and well maintained.The care team is warm and friendly, the food is good and well prepared. Many activities to keep the residents involved.I’m very happy my wife lives here.
