Don't listen to any approximate wait time its at minimum 4 hours every single time no matter what your visiting for and always receive a doctor's note just in case cause if you leave without one you'll have to drive all the way back because they refuse to fax anything

Sat for 3 hours with a potentially broken ankle next to a man with a nail through his hand, they never called us. We weren’t allowed drinking water or leaving the area. The worst experience I’ve had at a hospital emergency in years.When I asked where I could complain before leaving (without seeing the doctor I waited 3 hours to see, of course) they handed me a stupid pamphlet and said “sorry” with a crooked smile. Maybe if I had better insurance they’d treat me with human decency????

Every time I have had to come here for myself it has been a fantastic experience (sometimes I’ve had to wait but not very long). But I wanted to leave a review about my experience today with my son. The nurses and front staff were phenomenal with my child. Even the techs taking his blood work were wonderful. I felt heard and validated in my concerns for my child by Dr Seymour and she was great with my son. Thank you so much for all that you do here!

If you use this ER as it is intended to be used , for emergencies , you will receive care in a timely manner. If you use the emergency room as a place to discuss an issue that should be first examined in a GPs office, then I would expect to wait. Either way , this ER provides quality and compassionate care . Dr Luc was helpful , knowledgeable, non judgmental and personable.

Healthcare in Canada is broken. I've had faster and better care from a public hospital in Costa Rica. It's no fault of the nurses. The system is too top heavy.

Extremely horrible system here. They need to learn what a emergency is and isn’t. 6 hrs later and walked out without seeing a doctor.

I had issues with my UTI medication and needed a new prescription. I'd spent the 24 hours before I went in throwing up. I waited here 9 hours and they still couldn't tell me how long it would be before someone saw me. I eventually had to give up and leave because I needed to eat. There were others there for similar lengths of time. The nurses just chewed them out in front of everyone when they would ask about wait times.If they had given me any indication that it was going to be that long I would have just gone somewhere else. Instead I waited 9 hours and had to drive home sick and in pain.

Went to the emergency and sat there for 7 hours, had a deep and very bad finger cut, when we went to the peace officer to ask about waiting time (after 7 hours in there!) he started to tell us that our problem is not a big deal and it’s not the big thing. The woman before us sat with a child with a broken hand for the same amount of time! A small child was sitting and crying in the chair. Terrible, horrible, and awful. Never sat in an emergency for such a long time.
