Ordered two cakes for my kids birthdays, it was yummy and very well decorated (paw patrol and peppa pig) also a great price! Thanks to bakery for having it all ready for me at time of pickup! Will definitely be ordering again

Tried to buy beer here. Only 3 cashiers open and not one of them could sell me alcohol. If you don't want to sell alcohol, don't sell alcohol. Otherwise, train your employees properly. Absolutely pathetic management.

Wayyyyy too expensive. They have all the same brands as other stores but their mark ups are way too high. I honestly don't know why people shop here, I only come here when I have a lot of points saved up. The one good thing here is their bakery which is pretty good.

Clean and well maintained. Prices are higher than your discount grocers though. $4.39 for a loaf of white bread. $15.00 for half a cake.

I went there because the flyer said a litre of 10% cream was $1.99. when I arrived the price is actually $3.99. To obtain the additional $2 discount I had to download their app, connect it to my Air Miles card, provide them with my email address & permission to send me advertising. So I decided to buy four of them to make up for the inconvenience. When I got to the checkout I was told that I was only allowed to have one of them at that price & the remainder would be charged the regular $4 price. It's a grocery store like any other but the one intrinsic failure of the Metro brand is it they have higher prices than most of the usual fare... I think the only one as expensive or even more expensive than Metro is Sobeys. Consequently, I don't shop there very often... The limit was mentioned in the ad but in text that was so small it was unreadable on a phone. It only became evident when I had an actual printed copy of the advertisement in my hand.

The store is well organised and items easy to find. Almost all staff are very helpful but more training needs to be given to some working in the wine/water department. They need to be reminded that their pay comes from purchases made by the customers. Customers bring money and helping them is ensuring profit for the business.

I love everything about this store except the milk fridge. It's disgusting. I said something to the girl working in that area a few minutes ago. She said it gets done twice a week. I go there probably 3 times a week and can tell u there's no way it's been done recently. There's milk splatter all over the fridge doors and nasty things growing on the racks. Not impressed. I'll buy everything there except the milk.

Don’t reside in this area, but always enjoyed Metro Stores before they were the Barn. Have fresh deli, lots to choose from their food bar. Roasted chickens, lasagna, wedges, abundance of salads to choose from. Tremendous meat selection beef, chicken, pork, lamb, roasts, steaks, and more. Aisles are spread out and easy to maneuver between them, large assortment of breads, and vegetables and fruit sections. The employees all seem to be engaged and working, on check out, had a very pleasant African American young lady on cashier. Nice welcoming smile and greeting, looked like she really enjoyed her job. Was greet “Have a nice day” and I said “same to you”. Kudos to Management for vetting out their employees, as some grocery stores you go to, some have attitude and just putting in time. Enjoyed my shopping experience there today.07/10/2023. At 5:00 P.M.
