Hand-pulled noodles, authentic Chinese fare, generous portions and fast, efficient service, conveniently located downtown at Bank and Somerset. We devoured the Yang’s Chicken Noodle Boneless with Shitakes (pictured) and the Beef Noodle. Even the “mild spicy” option delivers quite the kick, so choose your heat level accordingly. Run, don’t walk … you won’t regret it!

Wow! Yunshang Rice Noodle just became one of my favourite places to eat in Ottawa. It was my first time and I only good things to describe this restaurant. I ordered Original Rice Noodle Soup as recommended by the staff and it was so delicious. I like the chicken & pork broth, so rich and taste like a warm hug on this rainy day in Ottawa! They also offer free refill for the rice noodles if you dine in. I would definitely recommend any first timer to order this.Salty Crispy Chicken is also delicious! Very crispy, made to order kind of dish. It’s served with ketchup+mayo on the side!Service was fast! Food was delicious and the price was reasonable! I will be back for sure!

The noodle soup is so tastey (and one of my favorite) and you can refill the noodles for free of charge. It is ultimate comfort food!Their fried tofu is one of the best in town. The texture and the sauce is amazing. I've introduced it to a few people and they all love it.The service is attentive and friendly. The bathroom is clean.The only thing is that their AC is non existent so on a hot day, you get super sweaty eating a bowl of noodles.

Always love this place for a great bowl of Yunnan style Rice Noodles. Always go for the spicy noodles or the spicy and sour. Today decided to try the Duck Blood and Intenstine spicy noodle. Best duck blood I've had in a restaurant in Ottawa! Texture was amazing, and there was a lot of it!

I love this pace because on top of their tasty broth, they offer unlimited refill of rice noodles …. With sets starting at $12, there are very few places that offer such tasty value bundles!However, do make sure you arrive early for your meal because the good and popular ones for run out early in the evening. We got there after 7:30pm and most popular items were exhausted and had to make do with second or third choices…

I cannot live without Yunshang Rice Noodle! They are one of the best casual dining spots in Ottawa and always hit the spot. I highly recommend trying the coconut curry broth if you enjoy mild spice. The broth is on the lighter side but they offer free unlimited noodle refills.

Portions are much smaller compared to toronto-scarborough location1. Less noodles per bowl2. Less broth3. Less meat4. Small portion of tofu skin LOL(See picture)This location is also understaffed, with only 2 servers. Toronto has 6, for the same size restaurant. Made to order dishes are also of lower quality, eg: smashed cucumbers, literally sliced. I want my cucumbers hammered gosh darn it!Their fried chicken is pretty good though.Must be harder to start chinese restaurants in ottawa as there is a smaller customer base, however, i cant let this slide.Edit: the company reached out to me and offered their explanation! Adjusted the review to reflect their standard of service. I will be coming back again.

Definitely worth it! Ask for extra noodles if you are dining in (no extra charge!) We got the Original Rice Noodle Soup and the Coconut Curry Rice Noodle Soup which both come with the items that you can add into the soup yourself. Would recommend! We also got the Spicy & Sour Rice Noodle Soup with Beef and Enoki Mushroom and Yang's Chicken Noodle Boneless. Service was good and food came super quick! Prices are all really reasonable as well :) Note: They only take cash or debit.

Delicious food and great service. Note that you have to order using your phone, but they have free wifi in case you don't have data. I ordered noodles as well as the tofu, both were delicious. The environment is clean and welcoming.
