Quality deck construction , made easy. When I first contacted S & S for a quote, Garret was at the door within a day to assess the job and left us with a quote. We accepted the quote on the spot and asked him to add us to his list of projects. Soon they were here and constructed a beautiful 10 x 25 foot deck exactly to our specifications in 2 days. Both Jim and Garret were organized, precise, and very professional. Impressed on every level. Go with the local guys - you wont be disappointed!

Poor communication. Unresponsive after two months of waiting for estimate .Quality of work is good enough, but they seriously lack skills in customer communication.

Made an appointment 3 or 4 days in advance for a Saturday with Steve who said he would see me then. Come Saturday at the time of service, no call. I had to call Steve and he acted as if he totally forgot and was on another job and had the nerve to say to me that it was more pressing to take this job and he'll call to see if there were any guys in my area that could stop by to see me. Now this is after making an appointment days in advance so I wasn't important at all and totally forgotten about. Well, I didn't get that call nor did I want to get it!!There is just no professionalism left in this crazy world anymore or integrity or morals or respect for people time. I had to rearrange my day for this appointment and you just conveniently go elsewhere!!! WITHOUT A CALL TO INFORM ME!How do people stay in business!!

They did an amazing job, my husband and I are so happy with the job they did. We definitely recommend them.

Garret and Jim were great. They were easy to work with and answered all my questions and concerns. They made sure everything was cleaned before leaving everyday. With things busy for just about any contractors during COVID, said they'd come in 4 weeks, and then showed up on the day. Better timing, fairer price than the rest. When we asked for an adjustment to the fence after the work was done, came the next day and took care of it. Very down-to-earth, and trustworthy.

We used S&S for both our fence and deck. We did our deck last summer, and its sturdy and beautiful. They took their time and brought our vision to reality. We get lots of compliments from our friends and family.We contacted Garrett this spring to replace our aging fence. They were quick, professional and the craftmanship is top notch. We will definitely be contacting Garrett again for future projects.
