Maddie Mellott Photography - Ontario Elopement Photographer

Maddie was an absolute dream to work with, and her photography is everything we hoped for! She has an ability to make couples (and everyone else, for that matter) feel extremely comfortable, which allows her to capture gorgeous and naturally candid photos. We plan to continue to use her services for all of our family milestones, and will absolutely be recommending her to all of our friends.

When I got engaged back in late 2019, and into 2020, I spent a couple of the COVID quarantine months searching for a wedding photographer. I am from Seattle, but was hoping to either elope to Banff, or have engagement photos there. I came across Maddie on instagram, and fell in love with her style and her work!She was super sweet and caring through all of our communication! Unfortunately due to COVID and border restrictions, we had to reschedule our engagement shoot twice, before I finally decided to cancel it. Maddie was very flexible about rescheduling, which was very reassuring and kind of her!She flew out to Seattle for our wedding & I could not have imagined anyone else being there. She felt like a part of the family and it felt right having her there. My husband Joe agreed wholeheartedly and even felt like she went above and beyond her photography duties" and even held his towel he was using to wipe his sweat (gross! but hey Maddie is a gem!)Maddie even offered to do more shooting the day after the wedding

We’ve had the pleasure of shooting with Maddie three times (engagement, wedding, and maternity shoots) and had such a positive experience each time! Maddie is super organized and professional and makes everyone she photographs feel at ease with her sunny personality (and even gets those people who hate having their photos taken to enjoy themselves!). Her photos are stunning and capture beautiful memories to last a lifetime. I couldn’t recommend Maddie more for any photography needs you might have.

We renewed our wedding vows after 10 years of marriage, and Maddie made this already beautiful day even more beautiful!!!!!!! She delivered even more than I ever could have hoped for, and made all of my warm, muted Pinterest photo dreams come true ;) I chose Maddie to photograph our day because I had seen her work before and knew that she was great at making her couples feel comfortable in front of the camera, which we are not naturally. She is full of life and positive energy, really fun, kind, easy going, and crazy talented! She wants the best for her couples and that's what she gives. She was professional, prompt, and all of the important things business-wise, but most importantly, she really wanted us to be happy and did everything to make sure of that. We are SO incredibly happy with these photographs, and will forever cherish them. Words can't begin to describe how awesome Maddie is! The first time we booked with Maddie was for our engagement pictures and we instantly knew she was the one we wanted to share our special day with. From the moment we met we felt as if we were friends our whole lives, she is so friendly and bubbly and makes the whole experience so fun.Our original wedding plans in 2020 in Dominican fell through, but Maddie was super accommodating and was able to switch our contract to our local wedding day in Mississauga a year later :) We're so happy that it worked out because our pictures were beyond amazing and perfect. We can't imagine having anyone else there with us, she made us feel so comfortable and really enjoy the moment with each other.Maddie is so caring and makes sure that your pictures turn out great, even my bridesmaids commented on how Maddie was constantly fixing my train and hair to make sure they looked good which I truly appreciated! As people who normally don't know how to pose/take professional pictures, Maddie was amazing at helping us with that with her game suggestions to make us genuinely laugh and enjoy the whole process.I cannot recommend her enough and will 100% have Maddie take all of our pictures in the future as well!! <3

I hired Maddie for a Christmas family photo shoot during one of her Winter Mini Sessions. She was very well organized, professional and charismatic.Maddie had my family laughing the entire shoot and made us all feel confident, beautiful and most importantly... comfortable in front of the camera.The photos Maddie took were beyond all expectations. She has such a unique style to capturing moments and producing gorgeous images. We display her photos proudly and are in awe of them everyday.Since this family photo shoot I have hired her to be my wedding photography in 2022. Maddie is truly a fabulous and talented photographer! Not only were we so happy with how both our engagement and wedding photos turned out, but Maddie is so great to work with as well. I highly recommend Maddie! All of my photos turned out beautiful because she was able to capture every moment perfectly at the right time. She was professional and easy to work with when planning the day. The turn around time was very quick. It honestly was a blast to have her around and I couldn't be happier with my collection.

We were married in August 2020 and Maddie was our photographer. From the get-go, she was super energetic and enthusiastic about working with us! Our engagement session was SO MUCH fun, she brought champagne and played music for us and we had a blast. She was VERY accommodating with our changing wedding plans, and provided us a really in-depth PDF about things to think about for our wedding day.On our wedding day, Maddie was SUPER relaxed and directed us easily into poses when necessary. She was easy going when I made requests for specific photos throughout the day, and her and all my vendors worked so well together as a team, especially her and our videographer (Patrick G Films) who were both making us laugh all day.Our photos were absolutely GORGEOUS and high quality! She captured so many candid's of us and our guests having fun and laughing which are genuinely some of our favourite photos!Maddie was incredible, and we're SO happy we hired her. Our wedding day was literally the best day ever" and Maddie played a huge part of making that happy. Maddie was an exceptional photographer. Not only did she make us feel comfortable with her kind and joyful demeanour but she helped us pick a location that made us feel at home. The photos represented us so well as a couple and were such great quality. We are so excited to work with Maddie again and would recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer.
