Possibly THE worst lender in Canada. You will receive zero customer service as soon as you sign your documents. If you paid out your mortgage they will not give a copy of the registered discharge and you will be chasing them for it. You will never speak to a real person, and if and when you do, you will not be offered any assistance, you will be given another number to call. Never encountered least caring staff in my career as a real estate clerk. I cringe when clients have no choice but to use this company.

Worst place in the world to deal with we played loan off early due to the fact if extremely high interest rate and where never told they put a second mortgage on our house. It has been close to 6 months now since we played off loan and are still fighting to get our paperwork stating it has been played and second mortgage taken off. Be aware people worst company ever. So then can you also tell me why it has been over six months since you have sent out my payout information? And why the branch keeps blaming head office and refused to give us your number?

I Borrowed $7500 on a 5 year term. Paid back $13,500 in 22months. Stay away people. They charge 40% interest on unsecured loans. This service should be illegal. I should have suffered with my problems at the time then to borrow money from this shady company.

I would give them a zero or negative stars if I could. I never missed a payment and even paid the loan off early only to have them claim they never got my last payment and I had missed 3 monthly payments. They now admit to their error at my local office but my account on their website shows I am in arrears $2700 and they contacted the credit bureau claiming I missed 3 monthly payments. Trying to get this cleared up is next to impossible. What a joke of an organization. Do Not use them. Funnier yet they keep sending my junk mail offering me loans lol.

DON'T! Save yourself the hassle of this horrible company. The worst business ever. I hate them with a passion. No one knows the correct answer to anything. Everytime you call they treat you like you are the most dumb person in the world. You never get the same answer twice for the exact same question. I've called them 8 times for an answer and not one answer has been the same.My car was stolen in may I got an insurance cheque in June in fairstone and my name I sent the cheque June 7th and was told the money that is mine would be in my account July 7th. It is now the 8th and I called asking where it was and they said it will be there in another 2-4 weeks. My husband is biking 14 kms a day because they are taking their sweet time giving me the money and I can't go to work anymore because I lost my job due to not having money or a car to get there.

I should have listened to ALL the reviews....but when you are desperate, you do what you have to. PREDATORY lending at its lowest. Astronomical interest rates, and sub par (Deep underwater submarine) customer service.You can not get through at head office to make a complaint. antiquated answering service designed to make you give up in frustration.The manager" at one of their locations

They don't do proper due diligence in verifying applicants details or reporting credit inquiries. I saw this Fairstone Financial show up on my credit report with a balance. I have never dealt with the company, never entered their office let alone opened an account with them. I've been calling them for almost a month to get this corrected but not a single time have I had someone answer my call. I'm trying to work with the credit bureaus to sort this. This is a total scam. Beware

Over charge on loans. You do a payout and your paying more than your existing loan. There loan shark's. There customer service is awful. Waiting over 2 weeks for a call back. Had to do another complaint and no time frame for return call. Requested to be taken off the email address and hasn't been done.
