Baroness Picnic Shelter

For a public picnic shelter, it was pretty nice. It was clean and in good repair.

Trash from a gender reveal was everywhere

Very peaceful evening...enjoyed family time n the peace of nature..

The Baroness Picnic Shelter is just off Indian Battle Road (on the way to the Helen Schuler Nature Centre. There are six picnic tables with the shelter, which in enclosed on one end. Outside the shelter is a group fire ring with bench seating.There is a parking lot close by, as well as a playground. Fort Whoop-Up is a short walk and, for the more ambitious, there are stairs leading to a gazebo near the coulee providing an excellent view of the river valley and train bridge.The High Level Bridge is a dominant feature just to the North of the shelter. Plenty of paved and shale paths are available within the park.The picnic shelter is open year-round and can be booked through the City of Lethbridge website.
