Terrible experience. Psw get to personal and play doctor. Create more of a problem in the house hold. They don't understand dementia and cause alot of fights being they feed into.the individuals emotional state. It was a nightmare . I will never have them again and would not recommand them. They are not trained anyone can work at this company . Very unprofessional.

Avoid this company if you can. There is a reason they may struggle to retain enough staff. Their management and schedulers have no idea or choose to ignore the benefits of familiarity and timing. Seniors need routine, respect and to trust them strangers entering their homes. And families need to trust their loved ones are treated well and that their needs are mer. . They alter psw's and times, we do not get informed in time if at all that no one will be coming. An issue as they are there to insure medications are taken!The 2 stars are for the few psw's who really care, who took the time to get to know my father to insure at the minimum he takes his meds. From day one, dis-organized, depressing, lied too aggravated bo others in training and no management, unionized means if you complain your fired. Overworked underpaid..places like this should be shut-down.

Just spoke with the receptionist who was incredibly rude who hung up on me THREE times before I could speak to someone about my mother since no one is showing up for homecare. Receptionist staff should be offering the callers help, not attitude. Hopefully this isn't indicative of all your receptionist, Niagara ParaMed.

Like every Company they have there positive's and negatives, Paramed however has mostly negatives. We where receiving Government Funded Home Care thru Paramed St Cathrines and it was horrible from the get go. They where sending UnTrained Staff. Often extermly early in the morning and extermly late at night. There was no Communication and the Coordinator/Schduler for our area was extermly rude

If this is the agency that services Brant County I'm disappointed in the scheduling of PSW's ,sending new PSW's who don't have a clue about the client they are required to care for or do absolutely nothing!!Don't waste your time trying to get ahold of a supervisor (Jennifer)who called me first and gave me her contact information and you try several times to contact her and no response.

In the beginning I was receiving great care. Now that my one nurse has left and gone elsewhere and I had to change the one visit because of a doctor's appointment things are messed up. Please don't send me an incompetent nurse who doesn't bring all of her equipment and then instead of doing a home visit she calls and asks my son questions and doesn't show up. I left a message and will be ignored.

MY MOM GET EXELENT CARE FROM PARAMED PSW,FOR LAST 3 and HALF YEARS I CAN JUST SAY GOD BLES THEM THEY ARE LIFE SAVOURS,THANK YOU PARAMED AND BEAUTIFUL 4 PSW LADIES,THEY KNOW WHO THEY ARE.

Just want to say I am APPALLED at the lack of care/ support that this company provides.My mother is SUPPOSED to have care twice a day; every day … she has severe dementia and is on a list for long term care (crisis list at this point) … my 95 year old father lives with her is falling apart at the seams ….. and ParaMed keeps cancelling appointments!!This is NOT OK …. At all.We don’t require the services for fun.We don’t require the services just to abuse resources …. We require the services because SHE NEEDS HELP.Once again today - no care … not one visit :but both ! are cancelled.We call our care coordinator at the LHIN … they say thanks for letting us know …. But nothing is done to fix it???!!!! This is NOT OK!!!
