Shoppers Drug Mart

They only had self checkout last time I went in.I don't like that.They also had a flooded parking lot due to improper snow removal followed by warm weather.

So not only do I have to say both medications I pick up to them each time I also seen one of the workers thier say what she thought I had becuase with the medication I could have a certain issue super unprofessional on top of that you made to feel less than just going thier I tried to help them as etched had to be filled which thier was three that time and they filled 1 talked to me I reminded them of the other 2 medication nope that got 1 more again than lastly I had to ask for the third medication so 3 separate waits and I had to go thier 4 times that day on the weekend just to get everything smoothed out I've never seen anything like any of this at a pharmacy all embarrassing and I waited 1:15 mins just to get them filled after I went thier 4 times.

Their online site said they had plenty of a product in stock at this location, so I went. There was none on the rack so I asked an employee to check, and they rudely outright refused to check. I put everything else I was going to buy back. I’ll go elsewhere. They wouldn’t even pretend to check. If it’s not in stock, fine, but not sure when customer service got so poor that they pretty much refuse to help and treat customers like a nuisance.

Absolute worst pharmacy I have ever encountered in my 33 years of life. Pathetic. Just absolutely pathetic. I can’t even begin to describe how TERRIBLE it is. If you have half a brain you will not go there. Do yourself a favour and save yourself a headache. The pharmacists there should be ashamed to show their faces in public.

Pharmacy refused to refill my inhaler for a full week and only refilled it when i told them another pharmacy id never been to would do it for me without problems. Staff was not pleasant. HIGHLY RECOMMEND USING A DIFFERENT PHARMACY. Would give 0 stars if possible.

Appalling… tried to take my dogs for a walk here This is what Shoppers location looks like year round .. absolutely heart stopping. Their parking lot is littered with garbage and the rest blows onto the river bank and eventually into the river and lake. I’m posting this in the hopes that someone in management will see this as Shoppers responsibility to clean up! It’s time to act! where exactly do they think this garbage comes from? We need laws in this city that protects the environment from irresponsible actors like Shoppers. Every merchant that sells consumables should be held accountable and forced to keep clean the area in which they operate and when they don’t they should pay heavy fines. I don’t mean cleaning around the front door! We need laws to protect the environment from Shoppers drug marts and Walmart’s operations. Is shoppers here does nothing next stop Loblaws corporate office and the city.

Don’t want to bring some diabetes supplies in because you won’t sell them? What about to me, the diabetic who needs them! Absolutely ridiculous I was told this, that’s the cost of owning a business is have overhead of stock, yeah you may have to purchase a case of sensors for my insulin pump but I will continue to buy them as I NEED them to live, it’s not like one day I can wake up and decide not to have diabetes anymore. Will not be spending a single dime here for any prescriptions or a simple bag of ice

Pharmacy is a joke; prescriptions are never ready at the time they say they'll be, and there's been multiple times where it's days late. If you can, swap to the one on Arthur's; the intercity pharmacy is horrific. EDIT: 05/19: I've been trying to reach a pharmacy team member for days to ensure a prescription is properly filled before I waste my gas; no answer after multiple 20+ minute waits.

Not worth getting gift cards at shoppers anymore. Too frequently the receipt says “activated/approved”, and the gift card doesn’t work. Brought it back to the shoppers it was purchased at - they can’t do anything because “it happens a lot - but it comes that way from the manufacturer so you have to call head office shoppers.” Takes a significant amount of time/effort and emailing with head office to resolve, and frankly not worth it for $10-20 gift cards. Ridiculous that this happens so often and yet the storefront can’t just issue you a working replacement.
