Marlin Travel

Called over a week ago to inquire about booking a family trip. Was told they would email or call with packages and prices. Still have not received any emails or a call so we will be choosing a different travel agency or just book it on our own like we usually do.

Marlin travel was amazing! My family had a no hassle trip of a lifetime. Would highly recommend them.

I wish that zero stars was an option for Brittany from Marlin Travel in Yorkton, Saskatchewan! A group of 10 of us booked with Brittany - a large group, which therefore generated a lot of business. 10 days before departure, my husband and I found out we were pregnant and were no longer comfortable traveling to the Dominican Republic as there is a high risk of Zika Virus. We decided to cancel our trip, and were told by Brittany that we could sell our package, but would have to pay $200 per ticket name change. Having changed tickets before, I was skeptical of this high price. Sure enough after calling Sunwing, we were told it was only $100 per ticket name change. Two days later, Brittany’s “service for changing the ticket” (aka this is actually just a part of your JOB you’re paid to do) was now $250 per ticket. So it turns out that rude, unprofessional, travel agent Brittany also wanted to rip us off and pocket the money herself. Horrible service. Will never book with anyone from Marlin again, and will tell anyone I know who is looking for a travel agent to avoid Marlin!
