This is the first time i went here and probably will be the last. I wouldn’t recommend this “ urgent care” at all ,The receptionist needs to be more humble and caring and be more respectful to patients as patient have some serious problems that’s why they are there. The guy receptionist in the front is very very rude!Just a heads up they will make u wait 5hrs or more!Just find other clinic to go to to be honest .

My partner and I walked in clinic at 12pm and they had already stopped taking patients, note that they close at 5pm. Hard to imagine a 5 hours long walk-in queue. We also called 10 minutes before we walked through the doors to make sure we could get in. The receptionist also spoke super quietly knowing my partner has a hearing problem. I don’t recommend anyone to come here unless it is the last clinic open in Canada.

With a high fever and crackling coughs, I was turned away at 8:30pm when the website stated the patient cutoff was 9:00pm. The receptionist (young Asian man with glasses) also turned away the 1 other person waiting, gave me a vague answer, and told me to come again in the morning. Okay, I didn’t bother questioning as it wouldn’t go anywhere. Why advertise 9:00pm cutoff when it isn’t true?I contacted the Richmond City Centre location and rushed over there instead. They accepted me at 8:50pm and the staff were marvellous and nurturing. I was able to have my vitals checked and chest x-rayed for anything potentially serious within the same night.

My first time using Urgent care was not a good experience as I waited for more than 3 hours before a doctor finally sees me and helped me. The receptionist needs to be more humble and caring and be more respectful to patients as patient have some serious problems that’s why they are there. The staff/nurses puts me inside the doctors room and left me for an hour before the doctor finally came without even checking on me of following up if I am still alive or breathing from pain I was experiencing inside the small room. The doctor was nice, polite and very helpful and punctual as she speaks. This should not be named Urgent Care because they couldn’t even help patient as urgent as possible and there was no doctor until probably 11 am as I’ve been hearing the receptionist that there was no doctor yet.Next time I will just go to ER, at least they more staff and they are more caring to patients even if I wait for long time.

Firstly I want to say the receptionist and nurse were very friendly. It fell apart from there. I arrived at around 11:15 and there were five people ahead of me. The nurse did my blood pressure and pulse. During the blood pressure reading she kept asking questions. I asked, shouldn’t I be quiet for the reading? She said no, it doesn’t matter. I’m pretty sure it does. Back to the waiting room. At 1pm I was called in by another nurse who said, it may be another hour or more and asked if I prefer to leave??? I asked why and she basically said, you’re not priority. So because your not priority we cannot tell you how much longer you’ll have to wait. Agin she asked, “do you want to leave?” I opted to stay, I was advised by the 311 Health Nurse to be assessed. At 2pm I was taken back to a room. At about 2:30 a very unfriendly doctor walked in and asked me questions and entered in the computer. Listened to my lungs, looked in my ears, felt my throat and told me I have swelled glands and red throat. This was day eight of the virus. He said, 7-14 days goodbye. By temperature was never taken. What a poor excuse for a medical clinic. Doctors they call themselves, I do a better self diagnosis with google. The so called medical system is in trouble. They aren’t treating patients, their treating symptoms. We all no that one symptom can mean many things. Oh btw I still don’t know what I have. I feel one star is too much.

It was my first time in this Center, I need medical assistance for a health emergency, and I went there. The Front desk girl gave me the right information and I have to wait like 3 hours to be attended by the nurse and Dr. although, I had to wait several hours, due the large number of people waiting, the attention was very professional and supportive. The nurse and Dr were very kind and competent.I’m still waiting for their call, to keep the progress of my health issues. On the other hand, I recommend this place

This is a long review, but may be helpful. I see a lot of reviews stating that they were turned away. While this is true and has happened to me the reasoning for this in my view is complex. Although there are other clinics in the area the doctor shortage in BC makes these other nearby clinics potentially under staffed, have long wait times and/or not accept new patients. This shortage in available care leads to an overflow of individuals seeking medical attention and they usually end up at this facility. This leads to a cap in patients at the facility as the amount of staff, resources, and operating time is limited. Today when I went I was told the wait was two hours while the waiting room may look half empty this is because people go out for a walk if they can. So don’t be fooled there is most likely people ahead of you plus they follow triage rules so more immediate care individuals may be placed ahead of you. I eventually got in and received lovely care from a doctor who took his time to explain what my condition was and the path of care we were going to take. The facility is new, modern, and clean. To sum it up you may be turned away which is unfortunate, but if you get in be ready to wait. If you want to do more write to the ministry of health asking for better funding for family doctors, urgent primary care centres, and better resource allocation.

Got here at 9:30pm. Their hours of operation show they are open until 10pm.Completely empty clinic. Not one patient inside and the receptionist refused service over intercom. It makes sense if you stop taking patients one hour prior to closing when you are at full capacity but when the clinic is completely empty and someone needs urgent care this kind of service is just pathetic.

This is the second time I've had to come to this facility and had great experiences. Today I went right at open so it was a bit of a rush period. Staff were very professional and polite, place was clean and tidy. I will say that the online wait times is completely off compared to my actual wait time. Online wait time spiked to 55min but my total visit was closer to 3.5hrs; I don't recall anyone went ahead of me either. Special thanks to NP Girard, I'm feeling much better already.I think the 1* reviewers have unreasonable complaints about this place. Just because the front is empty doesn't mean there aren't patients waiting to be seen in the back before closing. Do you know if they're not under staffed that day? Like that's not a thing these days right? Also why blame the receptionists for literally everything? These are prob same ppl complaining about a restaurant when they can't be seated 30min before closing. If it was that urgent then maybe people should have went to the hospital or planned ahead to arrive earlier. BTW, if you think hospital wait times are quicker, you've obviously never waited 5+ hrs for medical attention.

Was referred here from a walk in clinic. We are visiting from another province and my son had an unexpected episode of his health condition. Despite the wait, the care provided was professional with care.
