Tripaway Reg'd Boarding Kennels

My dog has stayed here twice and we've had a positive experience both times. It's really convenient that they also offer grooming services so you're able to get a nice grooming done at the same time. It's a nice, simple kennel and the staff are really friendly.

They always take great care of our two cats while we're away. They remember their names, personalities and how they were the previous times they stayed. They also offer pick up and drop off, which was awesome the first time we boarded there as we didnt have access to a vehicle at the time. I'm so glad we found this place.

Great place to kennel your dog's while you are away... Place is well kept and the owners are good people... I will be leaving my two schnauzers there again. I strongly recommend this kennel.

My dog seemed very happy when I picked him back up. The owner even washed his bedding the day I took him back

My cats stayed a week, now one of my cat is very sick, what happened to her! Never using this place again, I know she had to have been mistreated cause she is very unsettled. One week of hell for her, a very upset pet owner here!

Very friendly staff, they allowed a viewing of the facility before I arranged to board my dog.I was impressed with the kennels organization of all the dog's food, brushes, toys, etc. Nothing of mine went missing as it did at another kennel in thunder bay.The kennels are various sizes for various sized dogs, I liked the size my dog had and the size of his run.My dog seemed very content at this kennel when I picked him up which makes me think that they did exercise him and kept him on a good routine while I was away.The only down fall I would say this kennel has is mabe it is a little too clean, each kennel is wiped with bleach everyday and they also clean the food bowls, and bedding everyday. The cleaning product smell was a bit overwhelming.

Picked our dog up after a 3 day stay to a bleeding raw snout, bleeding gums, teeth are silver from chewing metal. She's traumatized. Never again!

Took my two labs to trip away for the long weekend and I am very unhappy with the service. When I went to pick up my dogs they reeked of urine as if they were sitting in it in their kennel, their toys were also covered in pee. I had asked for them to be walked and they were so hyper and wired when we went to pick them up and that is unusual for them (if they were being walked regularly). One of my dogs now has an infection and has blood in her urine (something that has never happened to her before), and when I asked the lady at the kennel she said she didn’t know if it was happening while she was there and that she didn’t notice. When I got them home and fed them they both ate their food like they hadn’t eaten all weekend and I had returned with half of the food that was measured out for them for the weekend. My dogs are still acting very stressed and they have been home for 3 days now and that’s very unusual for them. Overall, I feel that this kennel is neglectful and I don’t believe that people who want the best for their animals should take them to this kennel. I just want people to be aware as I didn’t see many bad reviews and I was misinformed.
