Fairmont Vancouver Airport

Oh wow, brilliant! I didn't have a chance to try facilities in the hotel other than restaurant (which is amazing) but the room! I was really impressed. You normally don't get anything like that by far when staying at airport hotel! Exquisite!

Location Location Location!You don't get closer accommodation to your early morning flight then the Fairmont.Rooms are spacious and well appointed.My room was starting to show a little wear, but nothing serious.They would have higher stars if they got rid of the horribly perfumed bath products. Once opened, I had to cover the soap bar with a towel because the perfume from it was so overwhelming I nearly had to ask for another room!I really enjoyed the plane spotting guidebook in the room. What a fun way to make the most of your Location Location Location!

We’ve stayed here countless times and it’s really one of our favourite hotels. The rooms are spacious, quiet and luxurious particularly the bed which is like sleeping on a cloud after a long flight. The staff are top notch in every respect and go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. On this visit, Michael took us to our domestic check in by golf cart because of an injury I had suffered overseas. He was so friendly and professional in his attention to getting me and my wife to the terminal promptly. He’s such a pleasant man with a caring heart who is a fine addition to the Fairmont team- can’t wait to see him on our next visit. Ryan was also the consummate professional in assisting with our bags. The breakfast team was outstanding and the young lady at the front desk was exceptional. Can you tell we like the place?!!

Great and convenient location from the airport, was able to get a good nights rest before our flight. Service was excellent, staff was efficient and friendly. Got a free upgrade to the mountain view with a great place spotting location. One con about that was that you'll hear airplanes take off, but that's to be expected since you're in an airport hotel. I noticed that some of their fixtures in the room were old or not completely spotless in the room. All in all a pleasant experience.

So convenient. We were in our room 25 minutes after touchdown, and it's right at the departure point for US travel (maybe other international terminals too?). Nice, comfortable room and great service. Having a nice hotel right inside the airport really opens up the travel options when you want convenience and efficiency.

PROS: Incredibly sound-proofed against air traffic. Everything is comfortable, which is what you need after a long travel day. Excellent lighting, plenty of mirror space, quality products, phenomenal water pressure, great views, comfortable beds, roomy showers and bathtubs, logical floorplans, bathrobes, plenty of hangers, space for luggage, free tea and coffee. CON: Bathroom designed for shorter-than-average people, although the tub would fit someone well over 6 feet tall. Toilet and counter/sink area, uncomfortably short.

Everybody was very nice. I had an issue I was struggling to resolve, and several employees worked together to help me out. The lines moved quickly. I really liked that there were recycling ♻️ cans available. Everything seemed clean.

I was on the gold floor from the time you check in. To the time you check out the service is just excellent. The concert service on the gold forward was fantastic. The food is fantastic unbelievable. The buffet breakfast in the morning includes eggs benedict unbelievable with a bunch of meat and other stuff to eat as cereals along with any type of coffee you won't. The rooms have a jacuzzi tub and a great view with great amended beach along with automatic curtains for the windows an excellent showers. What really does it? Is the service from the restaurants to the concierge to the check in to the bartenders simply the best?

There is no better place to stay for a transit in Vancouver than the Fairmont. Some of the best rooms I have stayed in, their Gold level lounge is exceptional alongside their service. Located inside the airport, simply walk down past the US bound check in and the entrance will be on your left. Food is top notch and the lobby bar has everything you could ask for. Even if staying a few days in Vancouver I would recommend, the train is a few minutes walk and gets you downtown in no time.
