I don’t remember the last time I posted a review on a project we had done for our home but after having our composite deck built by SV Decks I felt the experience of dealing with the SV Decks Crew deserved posting a review. From start to finish, everything about SV decks was amazing! Val had offered us a quote earlier in the year, and when we came back to it much later, was incredibly helpful! We ended up going with the Trex composite material for the deck, Trex Select collection in Pebble grey colour. I applaud them for dealing with my many changes and endless amount of questions that all were answered with a great deal of knowledge and experience. The craftsmanship of our Trex deck still amazes me. Being raised by a carpenter, I was taught a healthy respect of trades, and to appreciate good quality work. These guys are extremely talented and hard working. They know what they need to do for you and they will go with every cm to inch scale of measurement to make sure your deck built perfect. From the patient and respectful interactions with Val, to the incredibly detailed and tidy work of the deck builders, everything was a true delight. They are simply superb with their work ethics. We love our new composite deck with glass railing, thank you SV Decks for your work!

Can I give a 6 out of 5 rating???? Val and his crew just finished up our deck and we are thrilled with it. Right from the start, Val was head and shoulders above the competition in his professionalism and approach to clients. We are so happy with the results and are bragging about SV Decks to all our friends. If you are looking for a contractor who will do what they say and will come in on time and on budget....this is the right company to contact. I see some reviews under this business profile saying to look no further and I absolutely agree with those as we got quotes from at least 7 most well-known deck companies located in GTA and none of them spend as much time, paid attention to our needs and concerns or went through project details during estimate. Val explained everything related to the project, showed his previous project with references, spent lots of time helping us selecting the material for the deck and it was a very difficult decision to make as there is a huge selection of the deck materials lines available on the market, explained tiny details regarding how the deck is going to be build according to Ontario Building Code, all city regulations and mainly SV Decks dealt with all the permits themselves. Me and my husband are very impressed with the final result. We went with TimberTech composite Reserve collection decking boards for our deck project, and the result exceeded our expectations. We love our new deck with aluminium glass railing and will likely bring them back next summer for our Pergola project. Recently we have completed our backyard project that we were planning for years. We have had an absolute pleasure dealing with SV Decks. Val was very punctual, responsive, informative and creative at designing and building a very beautiful Azek PVC deck for us. Our backyard project wasn't as smooth as we have planned and we ran into some unexpected difficulties, and Val handled it all seamlessly. They have worked long days through the heat wave, humidity and rain, and at the end of each day, our site was always left clean.Customer service and quality of work was a five star.
