What The Vintage is a gem in Highland Creek, well-priced and well worth the trip (add in a spin through U of T's gorgeous Scarborough campus nearby). John's restoration work is meticulous; his service impeccable. A great experience and we love our rosewood-inlay media stand!

Since What the Vintage moved to its new Cliffside location, my husband and I have purchased a dining table and four chairs for our home, and a dresser for our rental property. John was fabulous to work with on both counts. Even though it was a comedy of errors with elevators etc at the condo building, he was on time, efficient, good humoured and best of all, delivered a gorgeous dresser that has elevated the entire look of our little studio condo. If you're looking for good quality furniture at an equally good price, go see John.

John delivered on time when he said he would and was extremely helpful in carrying our new piece to its new home on our second floor. Very friendly and he was extremely careful. Our piece was delivered well wrapped and protected and was recently cleaned and oiled. Very pleased with our purchase and John’s friendly assistance throughout our transaction.

Working with John was a great experience! He was friendly and clearly passionate about his work. We purchased two items and both are the perfect additions to our space. Both pieces are beautifully restored and look as good as new while still retaining their original charm. I would highly recommend visiting the shop, or if you have something in mind, let him know. Amazing customer service, when it was delivered they had it on a dolly for us to bring up to our apartment super quick and easily!The piece is in incredible condition, even better then the pictures showed! 10/10 ✨✨

John just delivered a beautiful restored mid-century sideboard. Photos online didn’t do it justice. Gorgeous piece. Great price. And added bonus - delivery is included in GTA. Highly recommend!

Great experience purchasing a coffee table and dresser from John. Fair prices, and everything has been restored/refinished where necessary. Similar prices to comparable shops but items are in much better condition, service excellent, and delivery is included. Delivery was quick and done carefully. Best furniture buying experience ever! Will definitely be buying again and will send friends to What the Vintage!

John is phenomenal to work with. We had the pleasure of visiting his work shop and he helped us to select a beautiful chair that would suit our needs. We ended up going home and ordering another piece off the website while we were waiting for the work to be finished on our first purchase! Delivery was timely and efficient.
