The Village Cobbler

I had one of my shoes repaired at the Village Cobbler & so far the work seems to be holding up well. I am satisfied with the work they did on my shoe.

Went in today for a heel fix on my boots. As I was from out of town, I requested a quick repair if possible. The gentleman obliged me and my boots were repaired in less time than I had expected. Outstanding quality of workmanship as well as cleaned and polished boots too. As my son lives in Cambridge, any future repairs will be brought to Village Cobbler on my next visit. Highly recommend.

Fantastic job on my two belts. I recently lost a lot of weight and needed my belts resized. I was originally thinking to have them cut at the ends and re-punch some new holes but when I went in they suggested the proper way instead was to modify from the buckle end. They cut 5 inches from the buckle side and re-punched for the buckle hole spike and re-stitch the buckle back on. They has done such a phenomenal job. So professional and quick service. Really can’t say enough about the excellent and quality work and service

I threw out allMy old belts for their high quality ones which they fit and punch for you.I also sharpen my knives here - better than I ever managed on my whetstones.I like this place a lot and suggest you give them a visit!

Was looking for a repair shop to fix my baseball glove. Messaged joe on Facebook with pictures if the issue. He was quick to respond saying he could help.They did a great job any only took a day.Great shop.

Excellent work done removing the metal hooks on my boots and replacing them with metal loops! Very professional looking! You would have no idea that they were altered! He was very kind!He removed the metal hooks on my boots because while I was walking, they hooked together, which caused me to fall. Do a quick Google search, and you will see the accidents people have because the metal hooks on the top of their boots become hooked together.

Went in to see if my trail shoe could be repaired after the manufacturer said it was no longer under warranty. The cobbler was able to hammer out the issue with his specialty tools in minutes and save me having to buy another pair of shoes. Cost $0. Great service.

Just wanted to give a shout out the Village Cobbler. I took in some muzzles for our vet clinic and they fixed them right up. The service is fabulous and I will be taking all of our leather products there from now on!

I've taken both my brown and black Nacona cowboy boots here. Each time staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and do a great job repairing the soles and giving the boots a polish! Highly recommended!

Absolutely exceeded my expectations when I brought my boots in to have the soles replaced.I'm admiring the stitching repairs. I was doubting myself about which boot had been coming apart - the repair is an excellent match to the original. (And an amazing contrast to my sturdy, but noticeable previous repair - I'm a sewist, but unfamiliar with leather techniques.)I was somewhat surprised by the quoted repair cost, compared to the cost I remembered these being (many years ago) but now the closest I can get to replacing my boots (any brand) would be THREE times the cost of the repair, lower initial quality than my current ones, and the important aspects of the style doesn't exist. If I continue to maintain the leather, I'll get as long out of these as I would a replacement. With the continued memories, already broken in to my comfort, and it's more sustainable.Absolutely worth the investment to preserve/maintain your belongings with the help of the crafts people here - and I urge you not to put off a repair if your footwear is in need of one.
