This is my favorite thrifty store in Victoria. It's very small, but has the lowest price and some very nice collections. I go there mainly for furnitures. They often come up with wonderful antique furniture in unbelievable low price. Unfortunately. This store is permanently closed now. I feel sad about it.:-(

This is a favourite thrift store of mine. The prices are much better than similar places (Value Village, WIN) and often have half-off sales. Lots of great finds in the shoe section and glassware/dinnerware section.The Christmas/seasonal holiday decor is always great. Clothes quality vary, but there's always a diamond in the rough. The till staff can come across a bit aloof at first, but are quite friendly once you get chatting.

If your just stopping into the Thrift Shop or heading into the Food Bank, it is a pleasant visit! I am so thankful for their services.

They are always really kind and helpful. But more often than not, they are low on food and supplies so the food hampers are many times disappointing. But it is greatly appreciated. You can also have your taxes done for free, which is super cool. Why not try your hand at volunteering if you've got the time. In conclusion, we (I) are (am);thankful & very grateful for all of the sopport offered at St. Vincent de Paul.PS - they are now located where their Thrift store used to be on Yates. There is no longer a St. Vinny thrift shop in town, unfortunately.
