'A pleasant and enjoyable experience at the dentist's office' - that's something you don't hear every day.Today was my second trip to Dr. Ian Boyd at Fine Dentistry in Sidney, BC. Both trips were really enjoyable. First, the dental assistant I've dealt with on both occasions is a great lady by the name of Joy - she is friendly, knowledgeable, and has a terrific sense of humour. She explained the purpose behind everything she did, and why it was necessary. Second, Dr. Boyd is very good, gives frank assessments of what I need and don't need, explains what he's looking for and why it's important, and has a great sense of humour as well.I'm looking forward to returning.

Great dental office, warm and friendly staff. Dr. Boyd knows how to make you feel comfortable with all dental procedures. Love the décor- true west coast spa like-feel.

How do you define outstanding?You may think it unconventional and even self-serving for me to write a review of my own business. Actually, my intention is to speak about the team - I felt compelled to publicly acknowledge them.I am privileged to work with a superb group of individuals who are both friendly and professional; they are absolutely dedicated to exceeding the expectations of each and every one of our guests and will do everything within their means to ensure time spent with us is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. They move through their days smoothly and elegantly as they tend to the myriad of details that exist within every dental office. Even though they are all unique individuals, the degree of cohesion within this team is both rare and truly impressive. I had a crown prep done with Dr. Saba. He was patient, clear in communications with me, quite skilled in his craft and understanding of my individual needs. I have no hesitation in returning to Dr. Saba for further dental work.

My wife and I recently changed dentists from Vancouver to Sydney. From day 1 we've been very impressed with Dr. Boyd and his friendly staff, just an excellent experience overall. Case in point, last night (9:pm on a Sunday no less) I had an inlay pop off one of my molars, not good. We called the emergency after-hours number and Dr. Boyd himself picked up on the first ring, wow. He had me in at 8:am today, less than 12 hours later, painlessly repaired the tooth and I was good to go. Top notch service, thank you Dr. Boyd!
