U.S. Customs and Border Protection - Niagara Falls Border Patrol Station

The reason for my low rating is based on one event. So, I do not intend on soiling the entire station. However, I think it is plausible that my experience is very commonplace in all CBP locations. My complaint is simple, I cannot stand unwarranted rudeness! CBP provides a first line of defense for American citizens, but you shouldn’t do that at the cost of treating law abiding citizens as an enemy. I know it’s difficult to determine whether a persons is law abiding or not, but that’s why we have probable cause written in our laws. Not everyone that goes through the gates are criminals, illegals, or drug dealers. Some of us maybe 16 year active duty veterans going on a trip with their daughter to see the falls for Christmas after returning from a deployment overseas. This is the first google review I have ever done, and it’s only to drive a point... a simple “welcome back to the US” a smile, and respectful and professional treatment of others would of not provoked this rant! In addition, remeber that as the first line of defense, you are also an embassador of the US. Foreigners entering our country (legally) should not have a terrible experience as their 1st impression of US customs and courtesies!
