Furniture Medic of Halifax

Our power recliner from Ashley's turned out to be an import from Vietnam and replacement seat cushion forms were not available. Shaun was able to rebuild it from scratch, on site, at a fair price, saving us from having to replace the entire thing. Highly recommended.

Shaun is very prompt with his responses. He repaired an electric recliner for us so it's like new. Highly recommend!

A cable on our reclining love seat was broken. We were able to get the cable replaced, and it is now in good working order. Thank you Shaun!

I had Furniture Medic sent out to the house by Wayfair to fix a cabinet I'd ordered. I can't say enough about how great the service was. Fixed the drawer and a few scuffs in no time and saved me the hassle of returning the item. He even repaired a small gouge in a table for me...completely unrelated and at no charge. So thoughtful! Can't recommend them enough.

I've had Furniture Medic of Halifax in my house twice to repair my leather couch. The first time they came, it was for an insurance claim through our moving company. The arm of the couch was damaged in shipping and the insurance company dispatched Furniture Medic to my house. Shaun, the owner, showed up on time and was very friendly and very helpful. And he's a St.F.X. grad, so what's not to love!!He did an excellent job repairing our coach, so I hired him again. My kids were climbing over the back of my leather couch and they actually tore and ripped the back of one of the cushions. The stitching/seam broke loose and they actually tore the leather (which is very thick, good-quality leather). I thought our couch was garbage. Then I remembered Furniture Medic. Shaun saved the day again!! He sewed up the seam and the torn leather and even put some leather dye on the stitching seam to cover up the discoloured leather. And his price was very fair. He saved us a LOT of money (buying a new leather couch). It doesn't look like new, but it looks very nice IMHO.I would highly recommend Furniture Medic of Halifax!! If you have damaged furniture that your very much like, don't throw it to the curb, hire Shaun to repair it... he works magic!!... he's your man!!
