Honestly the worst customer service ever. I have been a long-standing TELUS client for years, and was excited when they had acquired ADT. I thought they would make it better…. Well I was wrong. It’s like the ignored branch of the company. I have been trying to get in touch with someone to enhance my home security for 2 weeks. I’ve been on hold for roughly about 10 hours total, and asked for a supervisor call back…. None has happened. I am currently looking for other home security options. Unacceptable, and obviously TELUS/ADT doesn’t care about your business or your home security.

They don't provide any instructions. They don't even know how to fix their own products. The technician literally didn't even enter my door and told me I need a new carbon monoxide detector. Like what????????They don't let you cancel their services. You will have to wait years for somebody to pick up. This is such a scam.

The worst people you can talk to . When the say tommorow the wouldn't try even though if the smoke alarm going off. The only wants to collect their monthly fee. The hear the smoke alarm going off on April 11 at 505pm and didn't call me . I had to call them when I get home

It is horrible trying to deal with Telus. Why did they buy ADT??? All these negative reviews are true. I had my own baptism of fire today. It took 22 minutes before the lady answered the phone ( I am led to believe she is the only person they have working). She doesn’t seem to know the business too well. She put me on hold for many long periods of time until the silence was deafening!!! I kept asking if she was still there. She took so long just to craft a simple email. In frustration I told her time was money and that I was getting off the call because I had things to do. I hope my system stops working and they will come and get their equipment so I can find another provider. Telus you deserve 0 stars!! Your customer service is plain terrible!!

Can we give less than 1 star? There are multiple times line was cut off when trying to spend explaining with Technical support team. I had to pay twice for False Alarm where only 1 is clearly legit. I am tired of dealing with this company.

Low battery prompted 2 plus hours on phone to try and get answers. The ads run by tells to fill the time time are very annoying. Why anyone would join a their team with a poor approach to service is a mystery.Constant beeping made it difficult for children to get to sleep. Transferred 5 times. Had to identify myself 3 times despite internal transfers. Since telus bought ADT service and costs have been terrible. They want $167 plus dollars to close my account for poorly run business!!! Called the day after my ordeal with telus as I was told. Was supposed to deal with a manager. Loyalty club needed personal info once again. No manager available. They need 24 hours to get back to me. I guess my family and I need to put our lives on hold. Managers I was told work from home and are not readily available. Had been a long time customer of ADT. You should get rid of the loyalty club since it 8s no more than a sham,

2023-04-05 UPDATE The billing error was finally fixed 3 weeks after I reported it to Telus ADT.I get billed twice for January and February. Telus ADT is doing nothing to fix the billing error.

Horrible customer service by Telus ADT. Telus ADT said I needed up upgrade my system since they will no longer support 3G. I decided to cancel my service and politely declined an offer and requested to proceed to cancel. The lady proceeded to put me on hold 3 times trying to offer me discounts and services and each time I declined and only wanted to cancel. She would not take a hint and just cancel my service and proceed to argue with me about cancelling. I asked for a supervisor 3 times and only me raising my voice out of frustration was she ready to proceed. At this point it was 25 mins into the call and wasting my time. I will never be a customer of ADT nor Telus again after this horrible experience.

By far the worst customer experience I ever had.They don’t inform you when payment is not made. Everything is done manually and they outsource all the work overseas. There’s no way of communicating with anyone who’s willing to help sort out the issue. In a modern society, Telus really does a horrible job informing their clients about payment.

Unbelievable unprofessional, horrible Customer Services, Management and useless Escalation Centre. Not to go into details, but we seriously could be hurt and electrocuted as a direct result of the Customer Representative orders, because they have no idea which model we have! (?!?!?!?) The Security Services company doesn't know which model they installed in our house and how to fix it? Their only suggestion was to upgrade (excuse me? Why would I 'upgrade'?! I need the current one to be fixed!) and ONLY with the new 3-year contract. Unbelievable!!! I canceled my account. Never again.
