The restaurant part is downstairs and the pub is on the second floor. The food and service were very good. The building is historic and the interior still maintains an elegant atmosphere.

What a great place! Our server Ian was excellent. The food was fantastic, and the entertainment was a welcomed addition. We enjoyed the lobster menu, which is seasonal, and it didn't disappoint. You also need to try the Garrison peach beer. Even if you are not a beer drinker, the refreshing flavor will tivkle your palate. Would definitely recommend.

As aesthetic as the food looks, it was exceptionally bland. Coconut shrimps were crunchy and had no taste. Lobster roll was okay just fresh and nothing else but did not live up to the expectations and the veg thai rice tasted like mayonnaise mixed with veges and rice. Extremely disappointing.Although the ambiance had it going and the service was good and the view was really scenic. If anybody wants to enjoy their time with friends or family its a good place to be at but not at all for having a good meal. Hope this helps!

Stopped for drinks, appys and drinks on a hot Friday afternoon. Mussels and crab cakes and chocolate explosion were exceptional. Great seating for 4 under an umbrella on the front deck. Great service

i ordered a strawberry daiquiri, caesar salad, and lobster wontons. my total was CA$50, US$37. PLEASE try the lobster wontons; they were incredible and i wish i could have had them 10x over. the cocktail was great and strong. the food is plated so nicely!the outside looks dark but the inside is classic and has lots of beautiful dark wood. super interesting and pretty inside. there are two floors for seating and the bathroom is down a flight of stairs in the basement.the staff were so friendly and checked up on the tables a perfect amount. for dessert i ordered the chocolate pudding cake but only took a couple bites; i did not love it. it was dry and too rich for me. my waiter said absolutely no worries and took it off the bill no questions.9/10 beautiful building, delicious food, fancy plating, great cocktails, nice staff. -1 no wheelchair accessibility, not my favorite dessert

Fantastic restaurant, kinda busy when we arrived, but was seated fairly quick, our server was great. She was busy, but did a great job. I had the Braveheart burger and apple crisp dessert, sooo good. Wife had the lobster roll and seafood chowder and she loved both

We had a great lunch today to celebrate my dad's birthday. Service was excellent, good was reasonably priced and delicious. Our table was a bit wobbly, but this did not interfere with us having a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

Just finished a short drive from Truro, NS and decided to stop in while waiting to check in our AirBnB. We split the seafood chowder, house salad and curried mussels. Everything was so fresh I opted for oysters & Macallan 12yr for desert. Great place, fresh seafood, we'll be back!

The food was good, nothing impressing. Three people got the fish and chips and the fish seemed fresh. The chips were okay, lots of little bits of fries, not whole fries. The tartar sauce was really vinegary. I got the veggie burger which was really, really good but the bun was extremely dry and ended up breaking apart. The atmosphere looked nice downstairs but the pub upstairs needed updates done. Overall, pretty good although the veggie options were really expensive 12-17$… would go for some beers because they had a good selection.
