Dr. Dennie was lovely and thoughtful. Her receptionist lacked in compassion to say the least.

Excellent Dr, but terrible receptionist. Every time we had to talk to her she was curt, bothered and quite frankly rude. It is a shame because Dr Dennie is lovely and has done wonders for my partner. Hopefully someone kinder and more engaging will come along.

Very rude receptionist that has no tact. People come to the Dr. to be cared for, believe it or not. Felt more respected at my nail salon. Also 15 minute appointments?! That's one speedy gynecologist. Yikes.

Dr.Dennie is highly intelligent, polite, and extremely good at her job.Her office staff is wonderful and the setup is nice,clean and modern.

A knowledgeable and compassionate doctor, and a skilled surgeon.She's given me answers about my condition that I've needed for years, and has been continuously working with me to treat it.I would recommend her in a heartbeat!

Rude! Secretary was belittling, aggressive and accusatory. She spoke loudly over top of me when I tried to speak and asked if me if I was double dipping on Doctors? With absolutely no information on me, she told me everything they don’t do at their office and that I could have my medical needs met elsewhere for certain things. She had no idea what I needed done or any of the reasons why I needed to see the dr. She was sure quick to judge me anyway and tell me that at this office they don’t perform Pap tests. She said I was referred last June for pain and asked if I was still in pain over and over talking over me to stop me from telling her my condition causing the pain. I ended up cancelling my appointment because she was so mean and aggressive. I have no idea why this woman works here because she obviously hates women and hates her job. I could not ever see a doctor, no matter how skilled they are, who would allow their staff to treat people who are in need of medical attention and are vulnerable, the way this secretary treats patients. I’m an educated professional who knows better than to stick around and go here. Literally a zero rating that has left me feeling super disheartened by the current state of medical care.

Got a call from beyond rude personal talking to me I don’t need to see a doctor because I do not have symptom any longer. I still wanted to figure out why it keeps happen. Then she checked my referral and told me just do whatever I did before if happens again. WAIT, DID I TALK WITH A DOCTOR? The person on the phone gave me an advise what to do next time for my medical situation, so she better be a doctor. It must be nice to have power to pick and choose patients. Good for you.

I had a year wait for my daughter's appointment, understandable with Covid. I finially got the call to book. The secretary wasn't friendly at all, but didn't think much of it. I left my home 3hrs ahead of the 2.5 hour drive. Unfortunately I was 5 min late. I walked in and the secretary stated I had to rebook as there wasn't enough time. Appointments are only 15min, I didn't know this...I made this drive as only dr to see her as she is 16. I deal with extreme cronic pain, so driving was a challenge. I told her I just drove for 2.5 hrs to get there, she didn't confir with dr or offer for me to wait till end of day or anything, just kept repeating that I had to reschedule. I was upset for sure as this lady has been nothing but rude and clearly didn't want to accomadate me.The dr thankfully yelled out that she would still see her, I was so greatful. So my daughter went in and was out in 10min. It was a consult for surgery and the dr didn't even come and talk to me about it. I am her mom and she has to have a procedure you would think she would talk to me, but no. Then the secretary ignored me and only spoke to my daughter. It was a very uncomfortable situation. I realize my fault for being late, but no compassion here. I left feeling uninformed about my daughter's procedure. My daughter said the dr was very nice, I would know this had she bothered to talk to me. I have never been to a specialist and been treated like that. Too bad only gyno to see adolescence on island.

Had to see doctor Dennie and afterwards get surgery at VGH. The surgery at VGH was awesome but only because of the wonderful staff there. I was very young when I went to go see Dr. Dennie and she completely invalidated me about what was going on. She made it seem as though my problem was fabricated and instead got annoyed when I didn’t want to have a speculum inserted even though I physically couldn’t and she knew this from my doctor who referred me. The reason I ended up needing surgery was a simple hymenectomy so it is concerning that she had no idea what could be the problem before the surgery, it shows her incompetence in this field. I think the way in which she so coldly dealt with me as a child going through a very intimate health problem is really saddening especially because in this field I would expect a lot of empathy. I would recommend avoiding. 2021- I have also just received my medical records and saw that Dr. Dennie lied in her email to my primary care physician. She stated she performed an exam that she did not and was not able to because I informed her of the extreme pain it caused. Absolutely reprehensible and just shocking that she is allowed to practice.
