Beautiful views of the bridge and cityscape.Really wished the service was better. The staff seemed lost and didn't know how to cut cake.. they asked our own dinner guests to step in and help them....that's..... So ridiculous! Especially as the venue had been booked ahead of time with notice that there would be a cake cutting and to serve the cake afterwards. *Maybe* even included in the service fees. So I feel like this should have been taken care of ahead of time by staff. At least have the staff watch a simple YouTube video on how to cut and serve cake instead of asking us to help cut AND SERVE the cake to our own dinner guests. I saw 3 of our guests serving cake to other guests. We wanted them to have a relaxing dinner but instead they're working?! On a positive note they were nice and courteous with everything else and allowed us to have music in the room. :)Food could be better. I thought the olive oil chicken (?) Was dry and bland. It was too dry to finish. The food overall was simple. Could benefit from having a sauce or more seasoning. The fusion item wonton/ dumpling in spicy sauce was a bit odd. The salads were standard western, basic. Dessert was uninspired. Can come back to try the rest of the menu maybe.

I had an interesting experience here today. Was on my own, just checking out some jazz after an appointment downtown so was seated quickly at the bar where my server got me a glass of wine.And then ... nothing.I people-watched and enjoyed the view as he raced around behind the bar as if fuel-injected, making drinks, putting glasses away, doing his job efficiently except for serving me, touching distance away for at least twenty, twenty-five minutes.Just as we all have an inner world and an outer world, the bar has two parts. He was focused on the inner bar, while I was starving on the outside of it. I never saw him look my way from the moment he set my wine glass down.I finally managed to get the attention of Sean, another bartender, who kindly listened to my gripe and went overboard to compensate.I ordered the tuna ceviche (absolutely delicious!) and Sean ordered me extra chips to go with it, twice!He also apologized for the original server, who eventually brought my bill with no apology. I didn't get the first server's name but I would have given him one star. Sean deserved five but I deducted the one from the first guy to average the service score.

A beautiful spot with a large patio and great views!! For the food, it’s a little more expensive then other casual dining restaurants... but the view is so worth the extra buck!! We enjoyed two of the daily special drinks (Long Island Iced Teas) which were refreshing.. but a bit too sweet. We also shared a Margarita Pizza.. fresh and delicious!! The birds were visiting our table and had lots to say, but they weren’t bothersome. They also had very nice bathrooms, much appreciated! We will definitely be back!!

Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures, I ordered chicken strips with fries and chicken wings, they were ok I mean whatever fried food is pretty much standard, the ice tea had lot of ice and any flavour. Prices were the same as many other places, weak service.

Very nice view. Food was very good. I recommend the waffle truffle fries, cajun chicken burger and spicy tuna burger! The service was a bit slow, we waited a while to have our orders taken but food came out fast but had to wait a while for the bill again.

Went for a late lunch on a beautiful Victoria day weekend. A near perfect day to sit out on the patio/dock at Bridges. We shared mussels, mushroom pizza, nachos and calamari. The calamari was very light crispy but it was a ridiculously small portion of teeny to tiny squid. I've never seen them that small on a plate. We all agreed that the pizza was very good and probably one of the best dishes, nice then crispy chewy crust with white sauce and a variety of mushrooms and a hint of truffle. Mussels in a saffron cream sauce we're very plump and quite good as well. The Nachos were competent but not outstanding. I'm mean they're nachos... Shared a jug of sangria which was pretty good. On the basis of food I'd probably stay with 3 stars, but on the right day the location is glorious. Service was quick and competent so 4 stars it is. By the way be prepared to pay a premium for the experience.

If you’re looking for a nice view by the water, this is a great location! But if you’re looking for great food as well, maybe look somewhere else. The food was of course priced high but came out at staggered times for our party and was lacking seasoning and flavour.The spinach salad is definitely one to avoid as it was basically undressed spinach with a few toppings at the bottom. The fish and chips is also quite inconsistent with the portion size. You could come short while the people beside you get big pieces but still have to pay $23.The waiter and hostess were nice, no issue with staff!

I hate to write bad reviews but at this time I have to!!! Ordered: mussels and fries- sand crumbs in mussels, over cooked and salty. Truffles mac & cheese- mac from the box from the cheap grocery store. Steak has no taste. Another seafood dish ( don’t remember the name) just very regular! Everything is overpriced and low quality! Just very low! Very disappointed! As it was my son’s birthday and I picked up the place…. Never again! The waitress was so annoying! Kept asking how was everything tasting… honestly I was ready to tell the truth! Just didn’t do because of my son and husband. 180$ just WASTED!!! The only good thing is nice view.
