USTAAD G SCOTT ROAD
After hearing a lot about their chola bhatura, I decided to try at Ustaad G. We tried their famous chola bhatura, and while the experience was decent, it didn't quite meet my expectations. The chola was okay, but it lacked the impressive flavors and authenticity I was hoping for, particularly the Delhi-style dosa.

We ordered amritsari kulcha and paneer wrap.Chole that came with Kulcha was quite bland and watery and the paneer wrap, wrap was not well toasted and filling was too soggy.Not a good experience.

Hi,Me and my husband are regular goers to ustad g.thinking of good experience again butToday wen we went for the breakfast.We asked for outside table , they said you have to pay first if you want to eat outside which was very wierd as place was not crowded and we were not running.Secondaly 35$ for 2 thalis for a breakfast thali was bit too much as compared to what we were being served. Quantity was less, taste was not upto the mark and poori was burnt.Thanks.

Out of this world food and service! We tried the Amritsari Kulchas, Keema Naan, Goat Curry, Malai Kabab and Chole Bathure. All of them were SUPER YUMMY! This was the first spot we hit on our way from the US to Vancouver and it was so good we even had it again on our way back one last time. Please open a restaurant in the SF Bay Area!

They’re actually complying with the name Ustaad G. I tried their Amritsari kulcha for the first time yesterday and it was exceptionally delicious. I’ve never had anything like this before. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Ambience was also good. I’m definitely coming back to try other items on the menu.

I was looking for best Amritsari kulcha in Surrey and friend of mine recommended UstaadG. I’m glad I found this place. I got Amritsari kulcha and they were crispy from outside yet they were melting by itself. Very soft texture inside and amazing combination of spices. They are served with Chana with gravy, carrot pickle, sweet and sour green sauce and vinegar onions. It is a great warm delicious dish I had in rainy morning and it is a must try. Plenty of free parking and wheelchair accessible location. Prices are also decent and comparable to other places in Surrey. Food was fresh and staff was friendly.

Pros: Very reasonable prices, convenient location and polite staffCons: Ordered Cholley Bhaturey, Salted Lassi, Keema Naan with Gravy, Golgappe and Dahi Bhalla. The Lassi was decent and so was the Keema Naan… the Cholley Bhaturey lacked spice and were bland at best, the Dahi Bhallas were disappointing and the Golgappas were okThe restaurant didn’t look clean and the ambience included the washroom needed a good scrub..

I ordered food today but really disappointed. Never going to order again. Kadai paneer was full of oil, manchurian balls were so hard. Tandoori rotis were not chewable at all. Sides of rotis were dried like papadum. Horrible food and waste of moneyNot recommended.
