Ordered their hot chick fried chicken (with Anaheim pepper) and I loved it. There's this amazing blend of sweet and savory taste probably a result of their honey marination and hot spice. Flattened chicken is always tasty and I liked that there weren't parts that were just plain meat but there was skin with flavor that was even. Looking forward to trying out their other fried chicken variants with plum pickle salt, Okinawa seaweed, and mozzarella cheese. They're $14 so not the cheapest but definitely worth the taste.UPDATE: Also tried the Plum and Okinawa seaweed flavors. They're both really interesting especially the batter used in the Okinawa seed that gives it a nice crunch. The plum flavor has hints of sweet and sour which is nice. If only they increased the seasoning on the chicken (I will be adding a note to my order asking for that the next time). Once you're done with the skin, there's still a bit of meat inside which would have been nicer if it wasn't as dry so you might want to order a sauce or two to go with it.Finally, the bao burger is also really good over here (ask for extra radish seasoning!)

I got the fried chicken combo and it was so good. The chicken was so crispy and flavorful and fries also tasted amazing. The bao sandwich I got, however, was so AWFUL. The chicken was literally pink and so slimy it was gross and inedible so get anything else on the menu but that.

Portion is huge and reasonable priced. We came at almost closing time they still made to order. Signature chicken is good we got the seaweed flavor my friend got the original. Very crisp very crunchy and juicy. Can feel the chicken they use is well selected. Recommend their other snacks too. Would like to try more next time!! Difficult to find parking nearby tho.

Ordered the Crispy chicken thigh with chicken rice. Chicken was juicy and tender. The fried batter had a nice texture and no overwhelming tastes. The chicken rice was yellow coloured but didn't notice any chicken pieces (not sure why it's called chicken rice). It was topped with sweet pickled white radish and carrot strips. The serving size was smaller than what I expected but it's nice to try new foods.

Overall the food quality was better than other fried chicken stores. If I want to have munchies for fried chicken this will be one of my top recommendations. What seals the deal was that the chicken was too juicy not too dry like others. Their french fries were really fresh and crispy.

The chicken wings and fries are tasty! But sometimes they don't put enough seasoning. And the price is HIGH (22.59 for medium sized fries, about 9 small chicken wings and can of coke), esp for the serving size. If they lowered the price I would give them 5 stars, and I would eat here more often.

Looking for something different in Toronto? One of the best options is this Delish Fried Chicken casual place in Toronto. And don’t forget their signature Monga sauce!

I was quite satisfied when I visited this restaurant for the first time and had to go back for my Friday take out. It's definitely a must visit (dine-in or takeout) if you love fried chicken. I didn't know much about It's food history and I was told that they're a Taiwanese based fried chicken. They use fresh chicken filletsmarinated with honey, dipped in batter instead of dry flours, and fried to perfection so that every bite of Monga Fried Chicken is thick, juicy and tender at the same time.I tried their original chickens and spicy chicken with sweet potato balls, sweet potato and regular fries, and shrimp bao. Every bite was delicious! They usually have one cashier and one cook but pretty fast. Costumer service is very welcoming and friendly. They will explain every details on their menus if you're unsure what to order. Also, I suggest you download their app, Monga Fried Chicken so you can redeem one free dish. It's so worth it.

First the positives, a wide collection of flavours. Most I've never seen before, and most sound tasty. Now, my issue is with the overly thick breading that mutes the flavour of the chicken and is borderline off putting. The chicken is freshly fried, and while you're expecting a crispy flavorful skin with seasoned chicken. What you get is a crunchy thick batter (well spiced) with too hot chicken. I ate the fries and flaked off the breading waiting for the chicken to cool. Only to be underwhelmed.Service was solid, they ran a tight ship.
