I have been with Alex now for almost a year now. I couldn't be happier.He is so technically spot on and scientifically based. He has corrected so many issues I have had from previous bad coaching. He adapts for all my ' limitations' pushes me when he knows I can do more even when in my head I am tentative about things. For example today we did back squats, I haven't done them in almost two years a poor technique injured my back. Because our foundational form for other exercises have been strengthened we tried with just bar and by end of session nearly 100 lbs, and no back pain.He upholds my indicidual needs and my goals as a priority. I have nerve compression and weak muscle engagement. He does what says he will. He has also linked me with excellent other allied health professionals to help with my issues such as chiro and physio.His knowledge is unparalleled. He took me through my first WBFF competition and I placed and my conditioning even surprised me. He debunks myth and gives scientific rationale for anything he does. There is no bro science. ItsI all latest research and evidence based.He goes above and beyond, follows up, does his check ins, keeps me on point and motivates and encourages me when my head has given up or I am having g a bad week.I CANNOT say enough about him. So professional and approachable. I plan on staying with him for a long time. Cannot wait to see what we do next.

Moved to Barrie about two years ago and seen Alex train clients amongst other trainers while I was visiting his gym. I actually studied Alex and the way he interacted with his clients for a couple of months and then decided to take him on for some help with nutrition. Alex’s knowledge is on another level, I’ve been training for over 20 years and this guy is the real deal. Don’t let the word diet fool you. Alex made me a plan with a lot of my favorite foods. I started at 278 pounds and with Alex’s help got down to 238 in no time. If you can listen , follow a plan and execute what he tells you, it’s impossible to fail! Thank you for your help and best of all you’ll have a friend for life!!
