Dollarama

The store is immaculate!!! All the supplies you’ll ever want and the prices as you would expect from a Dollarama. You enter and everything is just well organized, lighting is brilliant and store has many many more items than other in the chain around Kelowna just would not have the capability to shelve. The store even has self check out. The store is huge, comparatively. It just screams, “shop, shop, shop!” The only thing preventing me from giving a five star is the staff. Felt dry! The associates seemed to have been dodging, not because they seemed busy, just sort of unwelcoming. Even at check out, the cashier avoided eye contact and just felt unwelcoming. Older lady. She didn’t even say thank you, nor have a nice day or anything. Probably a relic of a bygone era. I felt cheated and unappreciated when I exited. Prompted me to write a quick review. Work on customer appreciation, and improve your ranking to a 5. People have enough stress in this time! ;) - It’s now a year later, and I now score them 5 stars. Much upgraded.

Good customer service, shelves needed a bit of stock however it was busy at the time, well laid out no very short line ups if at all good selection.

Huge selection! Prices have greatly increased, but still has some much better pricing than big box stores. IMPROVEMENT NEEDED AT SELF SERVE ...cash register kept requiring an employee to come and override with their password and fingerprint scan because my items were too light for the computer to realize I had placed them in the bagging area...this added a lot of wasted time to my experience. Still my first choice for small random items. Today's purchase was for my summer work shoe's accessory. I always buy my shoe liner nylon socks with silicone heel grip from Dollarama; now in a 3 pack for under $3 with a few colour choices.

As far as dollar store's go this one is pretty good

I called Dollarama in search of candy canes for some food hampers we were creating and staff checked on product, prices, flavors and held some boxes for us at the front. It streamlined the process and made it easy to pop in, pay and carry on with our shopping. Very helpful, thank you!

Security accused me 4 times of stealing i proved them wrong wrong empty my pockets and ask got their name and they would not give it. I never stole and they would not let me record them but made me feel like a total convicte even though I never stole anything in my life. I was a frequent shopper. Hundreds of hundreds of dollars I spent. Now I will not shop there again.

Good prices, lots of parking, nice staff. Great variety of things

I'm not fussy on the staff at this location. I'll just drive to the one on Hollywood and hwy33 from now on. Their staff is a whole lot friendlier and know how to talk to people. The staff at the Capri location makes you feel like your doing something wrong..Follows you around watching like your about to steal something which I find rather offensive.They talk down to you like they are better than you and are quite rude the whole lot of them. If it was just one person I would have just thought that person was having a bad day, understandable we all do. However it wasn't it was every staff member in the store last night.
