This is a little gem in the Old Port - quite a few Cafés don‘t pay attention to the customers but only want to make a quick buck at the side. In this, in my humble opinion, authentic Italian cafe you get a very good coffee and treats. The owner is very friendly, the place is clean yet cozy,...I will be back for certain.

I’m giving 1-star to offset the unjustifiably high star rating this place has on Google Maps.Espresso is their main thing, and it was unremarkable, and they carried nothing interesting or artisanal or particular; all the food stuffs seem bought by basic suppliers. The baristas were mediocre, a tad bored and self-involved, looking at their phones, didn’t even have the Euro-French snooty sophistication that can rub Canadians and Americans the wrong way but is at least an uncommon experience for tourists. The place was not well-kept: cluttered, dusty, surfaces could use a wipe down, things were a bit cluttered and confused and could use a mini Marie Kondo review, the menu items are uninspired (though a Brasiliano latte sounds cool it’s just a latte with chocolate and cinnamon), even the bathroom was sub-par (cheap brown industrial paper towel, no signage on the door, the door felt hollow and flimsy). The place has little in mind regarding customer experience, seems to sit on its Euro-coffeeshop vibe that feels very dated. It is all particularly upsetting given that you are in old port, and in close proximity to all sorts of very wonderful and special cafés, not sure how this place got such a high rating. Even the location and view of the window is sad; middle of grey empty street, zero greenery or old-world architecture to gaze upon.

4.8 stars by 373 people????I don’t think so.We ordered a salami sandwich which was made at least 1-2 days ago and couldn’t eat more than one bite. You actually can see in the picture how old and not fresh is the bread. The quiche was so bad omg. And the coffee as well. We left everything there almost untouched and went to other place. 4.8 stars for what exactly???

We had regular coffee and a cafe latte. They have artificial sweetener, almond milk, and creamer. Not just sugar and milk like some of the cafés around here. Limited seating inside, maybe 6 seats? Service was fast and friendly and their pastries looked good. The cookies here are huge!!

Fun local cafe!In the hassle of the old port, it became quite hard to find a decent place to drink a peaceful coffee at.This place feels and tastes like Italy. The owner ia very nice and attentive and gives you a real welcoming feeling. Cookies and other pastries are just splendid. Coffee tastes like it should and being made with extra attention, small batches. There's a deli next door where you can also enjoy some Italian goodies.
