Great service with no wait. Love the sales and the membership saved even more cash.

Danielle was amazingly helpful when I started a lined dress project. I am an amateur and have never sewn a dress before. She helped with fabric , lining, etc. And also on how to do an invisible zipper. She is absolutely amazing and so helpful! Thanks to Parminder as well ! Thank you so much!

Went to grab some white cotton fabric so I could make some more detachable stiff collars. It took me a bit to find someone to point me to the right direction, but they were very helpful. As for the fabric itself, it was about average quality, served its purpose very well and starched nicely, so no complaints there. Just wish they had a bigger button selection, as it's getting hard to find mother of pearl buttons these days.

Normally I don’t give negative reviews and I usually have good experiences with Fabricland. But today I had an experience that was pretty upsetting. I had a transaction to purchase my first crochet hooks because I have been interested in starting. I was even looking to get a fabricland membership. But something was wrong with the machine. I’ve worked retail before so I usually know when something is wrong with the machine and it was saying there wasn’t a connection. This means different things but the cashier insisted it was my card declining. I knew that it likely wasn’t that because I had previously checked my account but tried another card which (again) I knew I had money with (the chances of both accounts with different banks being drained in a couple of hours seemed unlikely). Again the machine said it had lost connection and there was a network error. I stated that the machine was saying it lost connection and even froze and was unusable at one point. She then said something to the effects of “sometimes we think we have more in our accounts then we do”. To be honest that upset me and I shrugged and said “ok” and left. I feel that it was an inappropriate comment to make. Later in the day I had business around Westmount and went to the Wonderland location my card worked no problem I checked my bank accounts and there was no problem. Here’s the reality sometimes people have bad days and I understand that but the cashier this afternoon made an assumption about me, a wrong one and even when the machine was freezing she refused to accept any other conclusion. And even had it been a situation where I didn’t have sufficient funds I can’t imagine why you would say that to someone. It left a sour taste in my mouth and I can say that I won’t be shopping at that location again despite knowing that there are other staff members who are perfectly nice.

It's fall y'all. Who doesn't want to make some sweet fall pieces? In the future I am going to spend my money elsewhere. Every time I visit this fabric land it's the worst. The people cutting the fabric take so long I could have got lunch while my measly 10 yards of fabric was being cut. So slow it hurt to watch. Also when I asked where to find some pins, the sales person pointed at a giant wall and saidsomewhere on that wall" worst sales people and atmosphere I have ever had in a store where they should be grateful for every person who comes in to shop

Fabricland is filled with zillions of different fabrics and everything else you need for sewing. Since there's nowhere else nearby to buy fabrics, Fabricland has a monopoly. One suggestion would be for them to offer sewing lessons. I asked today and was told that they no longer do this.

This is usually my go to store but have found their good range of colour and prints selection of flannel lately lacking. The Wonderland location sometimes has a couple of choices that have saved my home projects. Unfortunately the absolute best selection is at Joann Stores in the US. There are no Canadian retailers online or in London area that can match the range of fabrics, with the exception of Len's Mills but you take a chance on limited inventory there too.

Staff was pretty hard to find. The lady on cash was wonderful, but the person who cut my fabric was quite unfriendly - wouldn't engage in any kind of conversation & as a result, instead of browsing, I got out of there as fast as I could. It's a huge store, and without someone to help navigate it, it's next to impossible to find what you need.Big difference between this store and the one on Wonderland where the staff are super friendly and helpful.

The store itself has a lot of selection. But some of the employees who work there are extremely rude- one short lady w/ short hair in particular. I went in looking for some fabric and designs, and I approached one of the ladies asking for the prices on one of the designs available. I say excuse me after walking up to her and she ignores me for the first 5 seconds until she finally says “yeah”. I ask for the price and she says “it’s RIGHT there on the thing itself” like okay babe it’s not like ur getting paid to work here. Secondly, as I am patiently waiting for a cashier to check my items out, I hear the same lady speaking to the woman who was previously at cash saying, “WELL they didn’t ring the BELL for service so whatever” and starts laughing. Logically thinking- with common sense, when a customer stands at the check out, it usually means they want to pay and leave…especially after receiving poor service from earlier. The lady who cut my fabric (long black hair) and the cashier were the only polite individuals. And who puts a bell for service in todays day, it felt extremely rude ringing a bell to get an employees attention.Overall, very poor customer service, if you hate your job, don’t take it out on customers, maybe get a new one :)
