Slightly less known place it seems. It's sometimes referred to as one of the Balmoral trails, so I'm not sure the correct name. There's a little parking lot with in between some residences near a train track. You can get to the peak in about 1.5 hours and because of the switchback style trails, it's not difficult. Wonderful view at the top.

We were looking for an early season hike and found this on Shuswap Trails. Well built trail with a reasonable grade. Just under 8 km return to the lookout with the Aspen loop in the mix. Took us about 2 1/2 hrs with a snack break at the top. Nice view at the top and a couple along the way. Good for dogs too! No facilities so go potty before you head out.

Hiked this trail last week. Sections of the trail were flooded.Gradual incline with a nice view of Sorrento and the Shuswap from the top.
