This is bar none the best hospital I have ever been in. The doctors and nurses here at LVH are fabulous! They listen, they care, and they are always up beat. I don't know how they're able to be so positive day in and day out but they are!I was admitted while being diagnosed with cancer. Everything ran so smoothly, if I rang for a nurse, there was literally a nurse in my room in under 5 sec. Every single time.Warm blankets no problem, pain meds no problem! Top notch hospital!

I’ve spent the last 6 months at Victoria receiving chemotherapy treatment. From the beginning the process was seamless. The staff were very informative, helpful with any questions and most of all very positive and cheerful in personality. All these points helped tremendously when having to experience these treatments. Even on days when they were inundated with patients, the demeanour of the entire staff remained up beat. How you do it everyday I don’t know, but I thank you from the bottom of my heart. In the end I was able to “ ring the bell “, I will never forget the experience. Thank You!

went to the ER at 11 am for my boyfriend who's been throwing up since early this morning, suspected food/alc poisoning.it is 2PM by the time I write this. he has been vomiting, dry-heaving, in the most pain he has ever experienced.processing went quick but as we wait for a bed to open up, his condition is getting worse by the minute and the staff denied him a washcloth to put on the back of his neck. myself and another patient in the waiting room (another nurse!!) were horrified and were adamant about getting him one. the once nice receptionist completely changed her attitude once she realized we were not letting this slide.she began laughing and smiling and chatting with her coworkers about our very simple request!! you have a man throwing up on the floor, in severe condition, and you're laughing about it?once the other patient, myself and my boyfriend stood up to her, her and her receptionist friends were severely rude to us. handed us a complaint flyer ALL BECAUSE WE WANTED A DAMP WASHCLOTH WHILE WE WAIT TO BE SEEN. WE ARE ADVOCATINZG FOR OURSELVES. THIS IS NOT ABOUT YOU, THIS IS ABOUT THE FACT THAT YOU ARE WITHHOLDING ANY AND ALL HELP WHILE WE WAIT FOR YOUR HELP IN THE FIRST PLACE. we did not ask whether or not the cloth will help. we were asking for one knowing it would relieve some of his symptoms.unbelievable. no empathy whatsoever. we will be filing a formal complaint.

First and foremost they do not answer their phone or return calls. Leave a detailed message and get nothing back. Line up to buy tylenol for your child just out of surgery? 20 minutes and you will leave with nothing. Ask to have a script transferred? No return call. No transfer. No information. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because they have a lot of stock. Which I assume has more to do with the hospital than them.

Emergency department is the absolute, unprofessional, lack of experience, truthfully only there for the paycheck. Was seen by a doctor twice to find out I've fractured a bone in foot. Was told I'd been seen by a specialist in a couple days to Max couple weeks. 2 weeks later nothing, find out he never referred me or even booked me to see anyone.Never explained how to use the support boot, I had another folk put the boot on, even that person didnt know how to answer my questions. So I walked empty handed.I've called numerous times to try and see the same doctor or to get to see a specialist about my foot so I can do what I do best, get back to work again! Go to St. Joe's or just travel away from London if you want better care.

My son was admitted to Victoria hospital. When I came in, the first shift was very professional. Special recognition to D.C ( a male medical receptionist). He is not only a great medical receptionist, he is simple, humble Human being, very approachable, a great listener attentive, showed great concern to the patients. His friendly approach with his selfless service makes him a star of the hospital. He should be delegated to train other staff especially the person who took over his shif. She was so rude and condescending from the moment she started her shift. Some of the staff members need to be trained on how to treat patients. Particularly on racial bias.
