The first and only stop you need to make for all Jamaican & West Indian groceries, fish, meats & ground provisions. They literally have everything. The store is clean and the workers are very helpful and polite. There is also a restaurant inside and an ice-cream and sweets counter as well. The visit will be well worth it.

I agree with some of the comments they over price the things in the store. It's a very nice and clean storeIts seem to me. No one is acknowledge how to run it. The expired date on there product I bought three different, set of meats pork chicken back and goat tripe. All .was badly spoiled I couldn't believe very bad experience for my first time.they have all Jamaicans goodies. But need to be dedicated in there business not smart enough in business almost all items stale good luck. The reason for that is that you guys running business only to get rich not for the economy of society and for the people to enjoy that's not how you do business it will suffer just my opinion thanks.

Selling food that is over a year expired.I bought food that was one year and 3 months out of date. When I went to the shelf… all the peanut butter was over a year out of date, the Nutella was over a year out of date.I called the lady over and thought she would be removing them. Instead she turned them around so the labels were back around the other way hiding the expiry.

Great place to shop if you’re from the Caribbean. 1 thing though is to be careful of what foods your picking. A lot of things are shipped from over seas and are frozen. Which will cause them to spoil. I saw a lot of items that were extremely cold.

Christmas black cake on a pie plate was $95! They did not warn me of the cost (nor was it priced on the shelf). I found out when I got home and looked at the receipt. Then I looked up the bakery it came from (Reynard) who are selling it in a beautiful tin for $20 less! The cake is delicious, but $95 is ridiculous.Bonnick’s also sells ice cream at $25/lb or about $35/pint, which must be the most expensive ice cream in the entire city. I’ll probably still visit occasionally for unique items, but I’ll be more careful to check prices.

I’ve been shopping at this store since they opened. I haven’t experience attitude like some of these comments. I love the selection of Jamaican food items but most things are a bit overpriced but I understand how business works plus inflation so I keep going because it’s important for me to support black businesses. But honestly I am going to have to start going back to Danforth Food Market sometimes to save a little bit.

My experience at this grocery market was interesting. I’ve been there twice and both times the customer service was missing!A simple “hi how are you” goes a long way, maybe even an introduction to your business would help improve the quality of service you offer. I admire and appreciate this place, it’s great for the community. My second time I got to see the woman who’s on the instagram page promoting the business. I received no greeting from her, she has no customer service skills. I asked her for a product (soap) and she passed it to another woman who was on the phone! The woman who she passed it to had her ear piece in and she was talking on her phone while cashing me out, she said nothing to me and I was on my way. I asked the woman (owner) about the soap if she gets them often, she had her back turned, and she replied but I couldn’t understand because she was facing the bbq grille. So I just left.I was happy to shop there but now I won’t expect anything, it’s a business and that’s it, I wouldn’t tell anybody to go there. To Bonnicks, here are a few tips to improve your business. Smile, greet your customers, tell them you appreciate their business, ask them if they need help with anything. Be polite and get off the phone while dealing with customers, it’s unprofessional and rude.

Excellent Caribbean grocery store, it had all sort of snacks and foods I remember as a child and all the aroma and Jamaican vibes brought me back to when I would go shopping with my mom. The owner of the store is very nice and knowledgeable he gave me a quick tour of the store and I could see how they were working on improving the experience for his customers. I'll be going back for sure, very pleasant staff and atmosphere.
