Getting Bloodwork for preeclampsia. They couldn't read my doctors writing so instead of clarifying; they made me at 34 weeks pregnant go back to the hospital to clarify and then GO BACK to them to tell them.I'm not a courier. This is the second time I've had to leave to clarify my paperwork instead of them doing their job.

Booked appointment for 12:50 and they say that we still have to wait upto 45 mins to an hour, what’s the point of booking an appointment if we still have to wait.

I went there last week, I have difficult veins so I usually expect it to not go easily but this was actually the worst time. The First Lady was fine she tried but wasn’t successful then this second lady came in and took a try. When she put the needle in hot burning pain shot down and up my arm. It was painful the entire time the blood was coming out, I could actually feel the throbbing. After it was done it still really hurt and unfortunately days later I am still experiencing hot burning pain in my arm. I’ve been told that my nerve was hit. I’ll now be experiencing this pain until my nerve heals… it’s incredibly uncomfortable and nothing I can do about it.

Easy access to this location as it shares the spacious parking lot with the Semiahmoo Mall. The waiting area is large and the staff is curt but efficient. Use the Save My Space option on their mobile app to squeeze in an appointment. At least you won't have to wait for a while when you join the lengthy queue as a walk-on client.

Clean building and friendly staff. However. In my experience they do not honor the appointment system. Waiting a full hour after your scheduled time isnt acceptable. And waiting 40 minutes for a test that required 30 minutes for follow up isnt acceptable either.

Bad experience, I understand it gets busy and all but there’s no need to be rude! I was just dropping off samples from my job site and the lady told me to wait in line like everyone else, I told her I am just dropping off and she says to me “you don’t get special treatment, wait in line”! I waited 15min and when I got to the counter another lady asked me why I waited in line for? WOW!

I had an awesome experience at this life labs. My appointment was for 7am, I arrived at 645 and they were able to get me in right away

Took my daughter here today for blood work. She is terrified of needles and she also had to fast for hours before the appointment so she wasn’t well. I asked for a room for her appointment, which was at 3:25 but we weren’t seen until 4:25, they said she could have a room until it was her turn to go in, then they told her the rooms weren’t available. So we sat in stall 1 and waited another 15-20 min. I explained to the women what my daughters issues were with needles. At this point my daughter is very pale and close to passing out. She manages to take her blood and finish up but then she tells us she forgot to take one vile. So she had to stick her again because of her own screw-up. Needless to say this has exacerbated my daughter’s fear of needles. Do not go here if you’re looking for compassionate service, you’re just a number they will get to an hour late and cause more fear in customers than is necessary. if you need lab work, do yourself a favour and skip this one.

My wife had a blood test on Sep 29, 2022. She has tiny blood vessel, and requires special skill and cares to do the work. The staff named Florence" had done an excellent and satisfactory work. She feels released and happy. Many thanks to Florence!"
