Shand and his staff have been awesome at helping me figure out some of the ins and outs and have supplied me with amplifiers, speakers, wiring, etc...These guys are super friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and will go out of their way to help you figure out the right system for you and your budget...and they have everything from the basics to the highest end stuff available. I recently purchased a projector from Audio 5.1. Shand helped me to determine the best home projector meeting my needs in my price range. I am extremely happy with it. Shand and the team at Audio 5.1 have been stellar with us for well over a decade. My recent drop down DaLite Contour screen install went smooth and they walked me through the entire custom order process. When I had a bad hdmi cable they gave me three options to test before paying for the one I keep. Learned some things while I bought an anthem receiver today. Powerful amp. Sam was right about this amp. No regrets. Should hv come to this store earlier over the years.

Shand has been an excellent source of information and helped me set up my Home Theater. He is extremely knowledgable and will give you the best value at whatever price point you need (and the sky is the limit-he has top shelf equipment). Audio 5.1 is there to help if there are problems-I had a couple of minor issues and they were taken care of 'in house' instead of forcing me to go directly through the manufacturer. From the first time I listened to Martin Logan Masterpiece electrostatic speakers I fell in love. That was two years ago and although I knew it would be a stretch to ever own the 13As that I first listened to the 11As might one day be attainable. They retail for 16,500.00 and I recently felt I had enough disposable cash to maybe purchase a used pair. I checked Canuck Audio Mart and nothing was showing up online so I started calling certified Martin Logan dealers in Alberta. I called Audio 5.1 and had my first conversation with Shand. Such a calm personable man. He quoted me a price nobody else was willing to match and with how easy he was to deal with I felt it was a no brainer. When I arrived to pick up my speakers I was treated to the full tour. He loves the equipment he has and he loves to show it off. It is his life. I learnt some tricks that day about how to place your speakers in your listening space in regard to bass wave canceling very interesting. Just go and visit even if your not interested in buying at the very least you will be entertained by this charming man

I’m very happy I stopped in to the store, Shand is very knowledgeable and there’s no sales pressure when dealing with him.
