Fall River Animal Hospital

Giving 2 stars because the staff is generally friendly and the place is super clean. However, my cats had a horrible case of worms for 2 months and I brought them in and spent a lot on tests and meds that didn't work and never did anyone mention worms. Called another vet and told them the symptoms my cats had and they instantly told me that my cats had worms and needed worm treatment. Sure enough one of them threw up a worm. Very disappointed because I spent a lot on tests and ineffective treatments just to have another vet figure out the problem over the phone for free.

The Fall River Animal Hospital is our main vet, mainly due to location. But forget location, we would travel far to find a vet like the Fall River Animal Hospital. The vets and vet techs really care about our pets and it shows.Our previous dog, Marley (may she rest in peace), was a Rottweiler and she had some terrible, debilitating diseases. In particular, she had a bad case of diabetes. We spent an absolute fortune on that dog to keep her alive. The last year of her life she was totally blind and having frequent peeing accidents in the house (which brought her a LOT of shame... she always felt bad when she had an accident and it affected her mentally). We probably kept her alive for a year too long, but she was only 7 years old when we put her down (too short of a life for any dog).Anyway, my point in telling you all of this is that we were paying through the nose with our vet in Ottawa (they once charged us $900 to remove one claw!!... ridiculous!!), but once we moved to Fall River and started taking Marley to the Fall River Animal Hospital, they helped us control our costs and we very much appreciated that. They care and they don't price gouge you, two important things to look for in any vet.

Truly compassionate lovely people. They look after your whole family when your furry friend isn't well.

We unfortunately had to putour beautiful baby down about a week ago. Something no one ever wants to do or should have to experience, during this very difficult time Dr horseman and her team were incredibly compassionate and empathetic❤️ still a very hard time for us but it helped that dr horseman and the team were so kind❤️ we also have a 1 year old dog and will definitely be back in the future for any shots or care he may need. Thank you Fall river vet for making us feel that during losing a big part of our family we gained a second one as well ❤️

We have been taking our beloved pets (all 4 cats and a dog) to Fall River Animal Hospital for the past 13 years! We always receive the best possible care and honest advice from Dr. Davidson-Rowe. She, and all the staff, are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, caring and treat our pets like family. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone in need of a veterinarian- your pets will be in the best hands!

Staff were very professional, friendly, and helpful with helping my cat. She had to get dental work done in the summer and was in great hands. I would strongly recommend this business for the way they took care of my cat and followed up - you can tell they genuinely care. Overall, excellent experience.
