The Pampered Puppy

This place is absolutely fantastic! They are reasonably priced and do a fantastic job. My dog is so soft and smells sooo good. He was really happy as well! The staff are also so friendly. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a regular groomer.

I found this place impossible to deal with. Tried to take my dog for a grooming but forgot my vax papers at home for the dog..the woman behind the counter was not in any way helpful. I tried to reason with her and told her I would come back with my paper and tried several options but with no luck... I find these groomers are abusive towards animals! And very liberal!! Never taking my dog to this garbage place again! Horrible horrible place

The worst experience. Kept my dog in the cage for 3 hrs. When i called asking if she is almost ready after 3 hrs the scary looking old woman told me they never even started her. I have dogs for 13 years it never took anyone 5 hrs to groom them. Than she was offended i i didn't want to pay for a rushed wash only. I can wash my dog at home.

Our sweet and very anxious Havanese loves Morgan! Despite being pretty wiggly at the best of times, she has no nicks, razor burn, or sensitive spots. Excellent work and so lovely with our pup. Thank you, Morgan!!!

Love these groomers!I am very cautious about where I send my dogs, and I did a lot of research. This place is the best. Vaccinated, non-aggressive dogs only - which I truly appreciate. It shows that they genuinely care about the safety of your animals, as they are losing business by not allowing all dogs in.Not only do they do a great job of their hair each time they go - but they treat my dogs well. My girls are always excited to go here, and never seem stressed when I pick them up. The groomers (Ashlee, Morgan and Schzel) thank you for always taking such good care of my girls. We will certainly be back!

I’ve been getting my dog groomed here for years. 1st with my old dog and then with my new dog. Lovely people, I always enjoyed the service, my dogs walked happily into the door each time and I felt I could trust them with my dogs until my last experience…After two years of my dog going there and “everything being great” and “your dog is great” all of the sudden my dog doesn’t enjoy being there and “requires sedation”.When talking to the manager there was ABSOLUTELY NO ADMISSION OF FAULT or any kind of reconciliation.If this is THE ONLY PLACE my dog get groomed and she has been progressively getting worse (so the manger told me on my follow up phone call, which WAS NEVER BROUGHT UP TO ME BEFORE) it is clearly learned behaviour.Now I have a dog that will be anxious and nervous to get groomed- thanks pampered puppy!Needless to say that I don’t recommend this place as the people there clearly don’t know how to make the grooming an enjoyable experience for your dog.

First time here. These were friendly, check in process was smooth. My dog is usually nervous, but she came out happy and her haircut was amazing.

I have been taking Rusty to the Mayfield location for a while now and I should have posted a review much earlier. Morgan groomed Rusty on his last visit and did a terrific job. I took Rusty to a family gathering this past weekend and he got so many compliments on his haircut. My dog is very anxious and skiddish, to the point where a past groomer said he was too difficult to them to groom. They handle him so well at The Pampered Puppy and they do such a professional job every time, by the end result you could never tell he was a 'difficult' dog.Thanks Morgan!

I have always been happy with the cuts done on my shih-tzu / bichon dog with the exception of her last groom which was done today. I am giving the 5 star review based on my overall experience with this company, not based on this one-off grooming service with a different groomer . Her general grooming was fine, but her face was a mess! Who cuts a dogs moustache completely off when it’s a shih-tzu cut? This groomer needs some additional training on face cuts. I will not book for a Saturday again, obviously they use their new hires for that shift. Please don’t book complicated face cuts on Saturdays if that is your staffing policy.
